The air is fresh and invigorating as this is located right next to the open ocean.
Bird watchers and nature lovers from all over stop by to enjoy this lovely wildlife refuge operated by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Hiking only. Closed sometimes for archery hunters. No bicycles, pets, jogging etc. Saving the planet one turtle at a time. In addition to turtles, see frogs, deer and all kinds of birds. Major migratory route stopover.
