Twelve Acres reviews
16Alicia & the staff from Twelve Acres did an amazing job with our wedding 9/3/21. If you are looking for an affordable wedding with many different food options, this is the place! Alicia & her staff set up our entire wedding reception for us so family didn’t have to worry the day of. The staff made sure to pack up all of our food we didn’t end up eating and it was a nice treat to heat up the next day! We had ours outside in the grand pavilion tent. So beautiful! Highly recommended!
Fried food galore. Plastic everything and overpriced canned beer out of a cooler used for a BBQ.
I own a mobile DJ service, and I will be doing a wedding there on June 13th. The person I met seems very nice. We will wait to see how the gig goes.
AFTER THE WEDDING!
I can honestly say that after doing an event at this place, I would not recommend this venue to mobile DJ Services. The wedding was held in there outside tent. Which was not properly equipped with electricity. My sound system, which consisted of DJ sound, Dance Floor lighting, and uplighting (which was never used) apparently blew their circuit breaker. With exception of the staff, the director attempted to treat me like I was one of the help. Not realizing I was related to the family. Personally, this is not a place that I will consider doing events at again. At least not in the outside tent.
I have loved twelve acres for many years. I do have to say it was not quite up to par this time.
Only had one bartender for a party of 100 people had to wait for over one and a half hours for a drink
Amazing place to have celebrate any kind of events. Great place, great service, very good food and great team of waiters. Amazing place! Amazing
Food very good. Service was absolutely horrible. Now let’s discuss the bartender. I was at a wedding, the service and personality along with communication skills are a 1 out 100.
My husband and I had our dream wedding here. The food was good, the evening went SO smoothly, the staff were so helpful and friendly and all of our guests had a great time. One server in particular-I wish I remembered his name-was extremely thorough and considerate with my and several of my guests' dietary restrictions. Overall a fantastic night and fantastic venue to work with throughout the planning experience.
Beautiful grounds for picture taking, the food was delicious and the servers were very professional. I attended a wedding reception there. The dance floor is large and the decor was perfect.
Great place for a wedding or party. The food is good and the service is great. The venue is clean and easy to get to.
This place is wonderful.the company I work for was hosting a cook out here. I also noticed you can get married here as well.they've got horse shoe game if any one is familiar with that game but it's quit an interesting place.have a look for yourself
The staff and venue were amazing! We had my daughters wedding on the grounds and the reception inside. It was perfect! Our reception hostess was very attentive and the food was delicious! Everyone was pleased from start to finish!
Food was pretty good. The bar was well stocked in the area we were at. You could see quite a bit of dust build up on the ceiling, other than that no complaints
That one star is a mistake! We give A ZERO Stars! We came here for the Mother's Day Buffet, and I have to tell you, It was the Worst Buffet I have ever been to. First of all, and most importantly, the food was horrible at best. Being in the business I know the food was not prepared with any kind pride or love, at all. It was the lowest quality restaurant can purchase. The fish was clearly frozen, the cracker crumb was not even cooked. The eggs were not real, the green beans were over cooked and not seasoned at all. The soup was in a home crock pot and tased like dish water, and the carving station (if you want to call it that) was a joke. It was tasteless, cold and thrown on the buffet, which I might add, had zero presentation and was very clear that not one thought went into how this would appear to paying guests, and even the desserts were stale, dry, and not up to par at all.and I don't believe any of these good reviews at all. Shame on this place. What can I say, I would have rather spent the $150.00 at McDonalds. We give this place A Big Fat ZERO.
Very good food like always good bar tenders and nice staff. I recommend this place for banquets
