Twin Oaks Restaurant reviews
18THE BEST! SERVICE BEYOND COMPARE. FOOD BEYOND COMPARE. IF YOU GET THERE AFTER 4: 00 PM, BE PREPARED TO WAIT. WORTH IT THOUGH. 3 BARS TO HAVE A COCKTAIL. YOU WILL ASK FOR VIP BAGS ON WAY OUT.
After 68 years as a Rhode Islander, I finally went to Twin Oaks for the first time. It was as good as everyone always told me. Great food and service.
Very poor experience. My colleague and I ordered steaks and they were unseasoned and bland. My sides were also unseasoned and bland. I had to add salt and pepper to almost everything we got. The bread was also hard and stone cold. Wine pour was pretty heavy so that was nice. But overall I can say that they don’t season anything properly. I won’t be returning.
I had the veal parmigiana for take out and it's good. Better than other restaurants around the same price point. The portions were generous but I was on a mission to finish it. Mission Completed! Well worth the trip!
The taste of the developed ingredients where's spot on seasoning was perfect. Decent proportion size.set on a beautiful lake! Although my only complaint is that its dim and dark with very cheap "salvation army "looking paintings the decor could use a facelift for sure this place has been around for years and years.they do know how to cook! I will go back.
It was definitely worth going there, the staff are very friendly and the food was delicious thanks twin oaks.
Good place to eat if you haven't eaten in a month because the portions are big and delicious.
Service is top notch.
Great food there was more lobster in the seafood salad at 1/2 the price than in the 2tails with my stake but the food was well worth the price Great dinning and good drinks.
Grew up coming to this restaurant & unfortunately won't ever be coming back. Service has been absolutely terrible the last 5 times with no acknowledgement of responsibility. Although food is decent, the experience ruins it and I do not recommend this restaurant any longer.
My sister and I enjoyed a wonderful time and a delicious dinner at Twin Oaks! As always the waiters and staff were friendly and very helpful! Thank you For a lovely experience!
This place is an instatuion, the open faced steak sandwich is awsum! They cook the beef on hot ceramic tiles to perfection.
Twin oaks is always a good pick, a little pricey but worth it. They have a large glass windows area where you can look out over the pond while you relax and eat or you can sit at the bar and watch the game with your favorite drink. Overall Comfortable place with good food so just slow down and enjoy the food. Also dont be afraid to try different things on the menu pretty much everything, that I've tried atleast has been good to excellent.
The appetizers were great my veal parmesan was fantastic but the next time I want to go for the prime rib looked incredible
I've been going at twin oaks for over 50 years the food is consistently good but I must say the service has slipped a bit
This place is a Rhode Island landmark. The food is always great and their service is the best I've ever had. Growing up in Cranston it was a huge deal if a kid got a bussing job know I g that I n a few years he would end up with the top guys. I have birthday here every year. Go for a drink or go for a meal, either way you won't regret it.
Food is great but there is room for improvement in the take area. To small to avoid traffic with servers and other employees.
This place runs like clockwork. My wife and I had dinner here at about 6: 30pm on a Sunday of a long weekend. It was super busy, but they didn't miss a beat. We didn't have to wait to long, yet they still apologized for "the wait". Food was excellent. I like that they have a "half size" option for some of their dishes. Classy place. We will be regulars here.
