United States Postal Service reviews
12This post office is the worst. Ever time I go in during the holidays the drop box for mail is jammed shut. I drop off probably 30 packages a week so im here often and every time the drop box is jammed the people who work there pretend like they don't know. I mean it takes less than a minute to clear the jam and they just ignore the angry folks in line as they shoot the s**t with customers in line. No hustle! One star. Get it together man.
This post office is the worst. I paid for a first class package, it sat here for 3 weeks and just moved today. Guess what they don’t return your money and just shrug their shoulders. Go with UPS you pay more but I never have a problem
The post office itself.they get a zero because Garden City PO holds a miserable bunch of customer service representative's.
We all live in a society where online ordering wins the popularity contest.
I have not gone to Garden City PO to mail anything for many years because the wait is crazy. I go to Rolpe St to mail packages. They win hands down for cleanliness, wait time & pleasantness.
Quiet post office. However the representative named Marc was EXTREMELY RUDE I don’t understand how people can be so rude for no reason at all! I called him out on it and when I did he changed his attitude a bit but come on if you hate your job that much just quit! I will never be coming here again that’s for sure!
This is the most inefficient location. There is ALWAYS a line here, the parking is horrendous and everything takes twice as long as this location than anywhere else. They need to move this location or reconfigure the layout and train the staff to move people along quicker.
Unfortunately, I lost my wallet yesterday. I have 10 bucks to my name. I went into the post office to mail a package and asked for a piece of tape to tape it up with, and the guy wouldn't give me a piece of tape. He told me I had to buy some tape. But like I said I only had 10 bucks to my name which paid for the postage on my package. So very rude. I can't wait for karma to pay him a visit.
Lady at counter 1 was extremely rude. We weren't even being served by her but she still yelled at us while being served at counter 2 and no one asked her anything. Her tone of voice was condescending and downright mean from the get go.
I usually use this location to ship packages, however, unfortunately, I will not be returning due to the employee who decides to be rude to customers. This was my second unpleasant experience with an employee who was not only rude, but demeaning. USPS I think it’s about time you made wiser decisions on who you employ, such as those who lack customer service skills because a majority of your employees at this location lack them terribly.
Had the misfortune of getting the same staff person on both of my visits. The first time she yelled at me for asking questions about the envelopes, and throughout my transaction. The second time, her behavior was just as rude, unhelpful, and hostile. This location is ideal, but will drive out of my way to find a PO that treats their customers with a modicum of courtesy.
Location is clean and well stocked. Had a delivery issue that was addressed and being handled during this busy holiday season which is always appreciated. Only have had an interaction with Declan but it was informative and helpful to a frustrating issue that has since been resolved.
I walked in to find what looked like a half hour line, however the manager was on top of it and called out to see if there was any one just dropping off a package that already had a label. I skipped what looked like a long wait thanks to an attentive employee and thus am leaving a review as a token of my appreciation.
We absolutely love all our letter carrier's, however why is it that things have changed and it seems we get a different carrier all the time now and only get delivery approx 3 days weekly then we all get a huge stock pile of mail. Before it was on schedule, same carrier. Why would this be?
