V-Mart International Market, Providence RI

Great selection of asian foods, from fresh seafood, fresh veggies, canned goods, snacks, noodles, etc. Price is OK, (viewing from perspective of NYC Chinatown native) there is actually 3-4 other asian markets within 10 minutes drive but i would say V-Mart is the best in terms of freshness of foods, range selection, and pricing.

Their food selection is great, veggies are usually very fresh, l. They have a butcher section for fresh meats and various types of seafood.

Nice large Asian market. It's not nearly as big as H-Mart (we just moved from the Boston area) but it has an amazing selection and even a small section of vegan frozen "meats". Also a nice selection in the fresh produce and young coconuts!

It's a nice place to buy some asian food. It's clean and have enough place to park. It's easy to locate through gps.
The price of wonton is a little bit of high, but taste good.
One of not satisfied part is: I've checked the packages of dumplings and steamed bread. There is no producing dates or any expired dates. None in any package of the specific brand, which I know it's a very famous brand. But no dates？ I wouldn't buy it. Please check if there is any dates before purchasing that brand

This is a go to market. I buy all my Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese etc.staples here. They have a great produce department as well as fresh fish and meats. The prices are great and the selection is vast and top quality. I always pick up something from the prepared foods on my way out, sticky rice heaven.

What else can you ask for from a supermarket? This place is the best asian supermarket in town! Fresh seafood, meat, and veggies are also available here.

Asian market featuring every kind of rice you could imagine. Good selection of fish and fresh vegetables too.

Excellent assortment of Southeast Asian food stuff. Fresh locally grown veggies, meats, and great fish fresh and imported traditional. Reasonable prices, free parking.

V-Mart is one of the few Asian food stores in Providence I consider going to. The store carries most food items for most Asian countries that use specific ingredients when cooking or making appetizers or snacks. They are mostly associated with Vietnam culture but Laotians, Cambodians and people of Thailand shop here as well. Some foods are expensive though, especially in the meat and fish section. The owner is nice and the cashier's are friendly and helpful.

Different foods you cant find in your typical American Market this has everything from Chinese to Thailand alsoVietnamese and yes Chinese the Chinese beef jerky is awesome and it's way cheaper than the American kind don't knock this store before you give it a chance give it a shot why not
