Village Medical reviews
18This was probably my best experience I've had at an urgent care! I was in and out (which never happens) and from the minute I checked in with the receptionist, to the minute I left with the doctor, everyone was amazing! Will definitely go back to this urgent care if needed in the future!
After reading all of the poor reviews, I was hesitant to go. I was so pleased when I was seen by the PA in 5 minutes. All necessary tests were taken within a few minutes and I had the results and the diagnosis within a half hour. In and out! Very pleased with Megan and the medical assistant. I would definitely go back
Every single staff member went above and beyond for myself and my 8 year old son. Each was especially kind and friendly to my son, which I was grateful for. They made his swab tests fun and less of a challenge, and he was all smiles even despite not feeling well. They also gave us their time and attention. I even walked out of there with a new doctor, which I've been looking for. Very grateful that the staff caused us to have a bright spot in what had been a difficult morning. Thank you!
Great staff did a great time from the time I walk in until the time I left! Staff was knowledgeable and caring
Been here a handful of times for myself as well as for my children. Every time we have received above and beyond services. I will go here before going to the urgent care on Mineral Spring (which is closer to home) any chance I get.
I went to Village Medical for reaction to poison ivy since my primary care physician wasn't available. I had poison ivy reactions almost every year and my primary care physician prescribes me Prednisone since all other topical creams fail to address the problem and the rash spreads like wildfire. Even though I mentioned these to the person attending, she argued that it's only a patch on my arm and gave me a topical cream anyway. Now I have to suffer this until my own physician is back.
This was the worst experience at an urgent care in my life. After waiting an hour and a half before seeing the doctor, she came in and made me feel guilty for even going. She told me to just visualize that I wasn’t in pain and to breathe through it. I can’t believe I wasted my time at this facility, if it isn’t an emergency don’t waste your time here. Very unprofessional and hostile environment.
Very courteous and friendly
Explained everything that was being done and what to do at home
The nurse practitioner was absolutely top notch. Extremely detail oriented. Explained everything perfectly. A+. Thank you so much.
I actually had the best experience at smithfield urgent care and i will be coming here for now on instead of johnston.
Front Desk Clerk was asking me my name after I gave her my ID. I told her my last name was CLARK.she said is that with an “H”? My son and I have different names and she asked if he was a jr. Asked me if any of my information has changed since my last visit I said NO then she asked my Address and date of birth…. ALL OF WHICH IS ON THE DRIVERS LICENSE I JUST GAVE HER. Come on guys Do Better. I’ll go to Lifespan next time!
Excellent and quality care. A first time I have used a place with an excellent service and quality
They charged me $120. Because I didn't have my medical card on me.then They charged my insurance on top of charging me. They didn't even disclose that they received a payment from the insurance company. Found out that they received a double payment and called them and asked why they didn't disclose this fact and was told that they don't do that. When I asked for a refund they said they woould. There are 3 ways to submit a refund request and they chose the slowest way to do the refund. Not a very good place to work with. Dont care what type of service they provided. The fact is that they are sneaky, and have put themselves in the same catagory as scammers as far as I am concerned. Makes me wonder how many others they have gotten that don't know about it!
I came in with shortness of breath and chest pains to be left sitting in the waiting room, then I was called in to wait for the doctor then after having an exray says he thinks I'm having a mild heart attack and say he may have seen a dark mass on my ex ray and say I need to go to an ER, I asked him could all of this be due to stress and he was unsure, my husband rushed me to the Miriam ER to be there several hours to find out it was exactly what I asked the urgent care Dr, it was stress and exhaustion and saw nothing on the exray that alarmed him, so I'm displeased that that visit cost me much more than I was prepared for.so I would say I'm not happy at all
I called the day after my visit to the urgent care to ask a question about a prescription that was prescribed. The receptionist took my information and said they would pass it on. I never received a callback.
Very nice facility. Receptionists were excellent and very friendly. Staff in the Doctors office were very professional and friendly. If needed again that will be the place I choose. Thank You
Everyone here is kind, professional, and wonderful! They move as quickly as they can to get everyone seen and taken care of.
I went in complaining of my lungs and worried about pneumonia. I was tested for covid I tested positive and was told to come back tomorrow for other symptoms once I was done with my quarantine. I was never even examined just told there was nothing they could do for me come back.
What a joke!
