Viva Mexico Cantina Grill reviews
16The food was great and came out quickly. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall we had a great time here.
Ordered from GrubHub. Didn’t get my food until an hour and a half later and it was not my delivery drivers fault. I called and they reported they were waiting for the food.
I ordered fries, 1 order of tacos, and chips with guac. The salsa was like water. The bean dip had cheese in it which was not specifically stated on the website - I’m allergic to milk so I couldn’t have it. The fries were limp and cold - and didn’t come with ketchup. I asked for utensils…didn’t get any utensils. There’s no way this food took an hour and a half to make. It looks like it was thrown in a bag and sent to me.
This place needs a repricing badly. They charge for a nice sit down but don't deliver on that experience. The food is good but nothing that warrants such high prices like 18 dollars for a small set of three fried shell chicken tacos. Thier beautifully uncleanned tablecloths allow you to enjoy your meal surrounded by the stains left by previous unsatisfied customers. While the price doesn't break the bank it doesn't equate to the food served or the dining experience overall. If you were considering eating here I'd like to redirect you to tullulahs taqueria just a mile away.
Fajitas were really good. We split them and it was perfect for two with a side of guacamole.
I ordered the Pollo Asado and it was alright. This place isn’t as authentic as it can be, based on what I saw others order.
Love the authentic Mexican food! Our server was amazing and charismatic, thank you Misael!
It's ok. The chips and salsa were good. Quesadilla and chimichanga were lacking. The rice was kinda hard and didn't taste like anything. Atmosphere wasn't bad and the waitress was sweet.
The service is excellent, spiced food with quality sauces made on site. The servers provide a joyful experience and an excellent personal customer relationship. In two words: "I recommend".
The meat in fajitas is joke, I would not order fajitas to eat grilled onions. Street corn is good
There was a cap in the margarita that was served to my table. The food was partially flavorless. I didn’t enjoy my meal. I will not go back to this place again.over priced for low quality food.
A very pleasant lunch here yesterday. The service was fantastic, (including 3 young kids helping out!) and the food / presentation was of a high standard. Definitely worth a visit!
Had a short time to decide where to eat, and we came here with friends! The food was delicious and Ana (the server) was so sweet, welcoming! A really cool place!
Waitress was less than cordial very impatient. Did not explain anything on the menu, which is primarily in Mexican, and not at all kid, friendly, nothing for children to eat, unless they are familiar with Mexican food.
Best Mexican food I've ever had. A little chilly, but once your food arrives, you warm right up with authentic delicious food. If you're in town, come and try. You won't be disappointed.
We had an awesome experience at the Viva Mexico. The food was delicious and just the right size. Our server Misael was great! He was fun and was very helpful. We were able to have small talks witch made the ambiance even better! I really recommend this beautiful restaurant!
Food was good, kids loved the chips served with beans as starter. Burritos and Chimichangas well portioned, but didn’t come with sides (rice or beans). Tacos were just like the street tacos I’m use to in Mexico.
Misael was our server, he was polite, attentive and friendly! We plan to stop by next time we are in Providence, hopefully we’ll be able to sit outside. The back alley patio looked quaint and
inviting.
