Wickford Playground reviews
10Very nice play structure but zero shade. Everything was too hot for the kids to even touch nevermind the sun beating down. Feild is great for running around. Port a potty is an eye sore after having such a quality play structure. Benches are in need of repair. Along a busy road with a very low stone wall as a barrier.
A nice smaller playground near the library for younger kids and toddlers. There are two picnic tables and a (sometimes suspect) port-a-potty
Great place for kids and adults. Make sure you bring a bathing suit the splash pad is very tempting.
This playground is updated, safe, and usually not too busy. There is a large field next to it for kids to run around; it would also be great for kites! You can also see the library from it, so only a short walk for a change of activity. The only downside is there is very little shade.
The kiddo loves this spot. When the other two playgrounds are super crowded this is an awesome place to go. And the library is right there!
Beautiful Playground and a lot of grass to run and play in around the playground itself. Fence and rock wall separating the playground from main road. The entire playground gets sun from rise to set: definitely sunscreen and water needed!
Clean and lots of stuff to keep the kids busy. There's also a big field next to it for kids to just run and play in. The road sides are fenced and there is parking available. There still is access to the road so please watch your little ones.
My kids enjoy going to play there, it's a lot of room to run but the gate doesn't go all the way around the park, so if your kids run away from you is not a good park to go to
It's a great place to bring young toddlers. It has wood chips where the equipment is, and an area for sand play. Towards the back, there is a big grassy field to run in. There is some fencing on the street side to a point. For older siblings, a basketball hoop and a paved lot to ride a scooter or bike. Also, a few benches and picnic tables are available. Hoping at some point swings will be added!
I have twins that are not quite 3, this was an awesome clean low key play ground to bring the little ones. At first we were the only family there, but even the other families that joined us were very friendly and pleasant.
The only reason it didn't get a full five stars is because on the front of the playground it could use a higher fence rather than a stone wall. Also a bubbler of some sort wouldn't be terrible thing to add, LOL.
