Resort Winnapaug Inn reviews
14 This was a lovely place to enjoy a getaway.
The rooms were nice and spacious and had great views. The hot tub and the pool were amazing! Definitely do recommend and will visit again.
Friendly staff. Great bar and restaurant on site. Fair pricing. Better than we expected. Would stay here again.
The deluxe room was nice, beds very comfortable. Cute continental breakfast available, friendly staff, a mile from the beach.
Perfect location. Nice pool. The rooms were a little dated by very clean. Excellent room service. 2 restaurants within walking distance. Right on the golf course.
The pool is great but the rooms in general are a but on the old side, and the place smelled of mold/mildew when we first entered though we got used to it quickly (it truely wasn't strong, im just sensitive to it) all in all tbough they are well taken care of and its just a byproduct of being an older building. The man at the desk was a bit on the a snippy side, but there was a woman who appeared to be in management who was incredibly friendly and helpful. She even saw our towels hanging outside overnight and offered to throw them in the dryer for us, which we really appreciated. All in all I always enjoy staying in this property, although the price has hiked enough that it's getting close to not being worth it anymore given the fact that it's an older property.
We have stayed here in the past. Seems to be a family owned business. Rooms were clean. Shower water temp was difficult for me not sure why. Water was VERY hot. Might need shower body upgrade. Short drive to beach and local restaurants. Nice quiet evenings.
The inn is very quaint and had so much to offer. The grounds are very nice There is a gazebo and an outdoor pool which my kids loved even despite the cloudy weather. The jacuzzi was awesome as well very hot. There was a game of shuffleboard or the like as well. You can walk to the salt pond and there is a small swing set, a big beautiful garden to admire, and a flock of hens on the way there. The inn has a small fitness room as well as a coffee room where the continental breakfast is served. There were some yogurts and muffins/cereals and fruits and juices.
Each floor had its own vending and ice machines. Elevators were all operational and everything tidy and clean smelling. The room was nice and clean and very welcoming. Plenty of towels in room and by pool. The shower was AMAZING! We will definitely be back to the inn it was a great experience for someone who wants a close location to the beach and doesn’t want to pay too much. I highly recommend this inn!
The man at the front desk was a jerk never go here The best option would be seashell inn or beach ball inn near the beach
The location was great, the rooms were cleanly. The problem was that the elevator didn't work. I had to carry my bags down the stairs. The hot tub was not hot and there were no clean towels by the pool. The continental breakfast was served pleasantly at 7: 30a, m.
Been here last year during autumn and winter, suite with kitchen. Complained about noise generated by fridge compressor (every half an hour for 15 minutes, all day/all night), and distance till bed is less than 6 feet.
Guy behind reception desk told me the maintenance checked it and everything is fine (I doubt anybody even came), and lady told me to buy ear-plugs.extremely rude and unprofessional service, definitely over-priced.
Desk was missing few screws, good thing he was still standing.
A/C was not clean, could see mildew. Cleaned it by myself.
Avoid if you can.
We just had the pork chops. The saltiness dinner I have had. Very expensive and not worth the time.
It wasn't really worth the price, but it did the trick. The balconies were nice. Breakfast didn't consist of much.
I've been going to Winnapaug Inn for more than 8 years. Very clean, comfortable, friendly, and convenient to beaches. Can't complain.
Room was musty. Mattress was old, uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. Ice maker was not working. Breakfast served is a joke. AWFUL. Avoid this place
