Called around 7: 10 to rehome a cat that I called about a week ago. The woman on the line was very sharp and rude when I told her about my whereabouts she responded with "Then why didn't you call the Pawtucket Shelter? ". When asked about if the cat (unneutered btw) was still spraying, she then followed with "If any other shelters ask about if the cat sprays, say no next time. " I have never had a bad experience with this place up until now.

I received a call back from the director Deb regarding the situation with rehoming the cat and the review I had left the previous night. She expressed her concern over my one-star review and noted to me that the many volunteers who work for this establishment were very upset and personally hurt by my review. To the volunteers, I would like to thank you for your services and efforts made to take care of the cats of the Woonsocket Cat Sanctuary. You're doing what nobody else could and that's spectacular. Thank you again Deb for getting back to me to clarify things. I will keep in touch.

I called for community service and because I have a petty theft charge from 7 years ago they refused, I’ve changed my life for the best I’m just trying to move forward with no warrants. I haven’t been in trouble for 7 years, I’m still being shamed for it when I have changed my life in so many ways and I’m just trying to pay for what I have done in the past.

Always something there to buy. And it's a good place for cat to grow old or find a place to live

Visiting the flea market on weekends is like going on a treasure hunt. You never know what you will find. Guaranteed you will walk out with something! Prices are fantastic and best of all, 100% of the proceeds support the care and adoption of the cats.

I went in to make a food donation and I absolutely love how this facility is run. They have some cats that are able to roam free, while the ones who are not medically cleared or the ones who don't play well with others are separated. They have volunteers running this place and they are all very friendly. This is a nice place to go and choose a fur baby to love or to go and make a donation. I was told they are always in need of dry cat food, friskies wet cat food (as long as it's not fish flavored), non-scoopable litter, bleach, and paper towels. This is a nice place to go to warm your heart.

The cats there are soo happy and well taken care of! The workers are nice and helpful, I am very happy with my visit!

Very friendly people. Nice sanctuary for the cats. Very clean. A good place to look if you're up for adopting a cat. A good place to be if you're a lost cat. There are usually cats of all ages but it's best to just go and look. We brought home a 3 year old girl and my in-laws brought home a 2 year old female. Both are very happy, healthy, and well adjusted pets. All fees go towards the sanctuary and of course the cats. All these folks are volunteers and do a great job.

I visit there whenever I get a chance. They work hard to get these cats a forever home. I cannot leave their without tears in my eyes. It hurts to see, for example, a mother cat in one cage and the babies in a separate cage. They are well fed and taken good care of by the best staff of volunteers in Woodsocket. Great place deb and all the staff they are so nice they strive to help as many cats as they can, they give alot of love to these surrendered and abondandand fur babies also its a no Kill shelter wich is 5stars itself thanks deb for taking in the stray cat boots i found and getting him adopted so quickly though most credit will go to boots cause he was such a lovable kitty good job boots i loved u a short time but i knew u had it in you such a loving kittie all the cats their are lovable i must say, and looking for forever homes

We just adopted this two-month-old cutie yesterday! The cats at this place are so well taken care of

The volunteers that run the sanctuary are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean and welcoming environment, definitely recommend the cat sanctuary for finding the next member of your family!

We brought Captain Nemo of the S. S. Lima Bean (or just Nemo) home 2 weeks ago and he's the absolute best fit for us!

Called them to find Sanctuary for my two cats due to an emergency situation. Was told by the director that I should just have the cats destroyed because they were over 7 years old because they would end up doing the same if they took them in. I explained to them that they are only 8 and in good health and very affectionate but she was very cold and uncaring. Obviously they are not a non kill as they claim to be.

Found it by accident while looking for a listed yardsale to help the sanctuary. Neither of the two ladies were interested in helping us. My kids fell in love with a cat there that was reaching through her cage for them and cried everytime they walked away. When we asked about it they were rude and with a nasty tone said it was adopted. We didn't go there looking for a cat but had they been nicer and actually interested in adopting out a cat we may have rescued one that day.

Love the yard sale they do every weekend. They are amazingly nice and take such good care of the cats

Great service. If your looking to give up a car for adoption it requires a $120.00 donation and if you want to adopt a cat it requires a set fee.

The director and many volunteers take great care of the cats and kittens. They make sure they're all vetted and ready for adoption. They also screen potential cat parents to make sure that the cats are going to good homes.

We have now adopted 2 kittens & a 2 year old from here. This place is amazing. It is a no kill shelter and love how the cats are free to roam and you can interact with them. They are taken very good care of.

What there doing is amazing taking there own time to find homes for these animals.place was very clean and the animals seemed very happy and relaxed.

The people that work there a very friendly you can find just about anything the prices are very cheap it's worth your time to go visit and see what you can find
