Yama Fuji reviews
16It is the first time that I visit this place and I recommend it, the food and the excellent customer service
Food and service are amazing! My only complaint is the prices since COVID.which isn't their fault.
Their dumplings are delicious! Love coming here often having very delicious food and amazing hibachi
I truly love this place. Staff is very friendly and attentive that and food presentation is high quality
My family has been going to Yama Fuji for years now (since 2016, at least). We really enjoy the sushi. Our daughter LOVES the sweet and sour chicken. And we have been there for Hibachi, which we all really enjoy. The service is always helpful and attentive. We have eaten in the restaurant, gotten takeout and delivery. Yama Fuji is really consistent for they flavor and service. We go probably 1 or 2 times a month.
Please visit this restaurant and get the deluxe sushi platter. You won’t go wrong! I always order the seaweed salad as well. The staff is kind and attentive. It usually is not crowded either. I go at least a few times a month. Oh…. I forgot…. The crab rangoons are outrageously good!
There's not usually many people here, not sure why other than people using take out? Their menu is typical except they don't offer any COMBO meals (this really bothers me) but they do have a separate lunch section which does for certain times. Their food is fresh, and tasty, not greasy and heavy. It's nice because they have regular Chinese food as well as sushi and in the back they have hibachi. I often go and the person I'm with gets one style of Chinese food and I get sushi. The sushi is quite good! Always seems fresh to me and the combo rolls are great. They don't offer low sodium soy sauce but they use bottles that say they are. That bothers me. I've had all styles of their food they offer and I liked them all EXCEPT for the Hibachi. It was just not on par with anything I've had (hibachi style) before. Makes me miss okis. Like a lot of places right now they are having a hard time getting help so I factored that in. Our server was nice enough.food was not served at the same time which I didn't like and it was kind of backwards to me. The cooked Chinese food came out maybe 15 mins before the sushi! The soda has free refills, that's a big plus to me! All in all I like the food, the place is nice just not many people. And as for hibachi. I think it's still a work in progress. I think they are definitely worth a try!
Meh. I ordered the tofu w vegetables and the moo Shu pork. The tofu came with bamboo shoots, a few peppers and onions; the moo Shu was stir fried cabbage, eggs, and wood ear mushrooms stir fried with hoisin sauce. I don’t think I would order from here again
A wonderful local restaurant that is not intimidating to the solo traveler. I enjoyed dinner with a drink at the bar and did not feel uncomfortable being alone. Fresh sushi and pipping hot crab Rangoon, I could not be more satisfied.
Great spot for flavorful sushi and Asian fusion entrees! Drinks are great too! I come here at least once a week)
This our go to Chinese food/Hibachi place in Providence. Food is excellent and service is always great!
Always a go to for take out. Not a big fan of their regular food but I do like their sushi
Food is flavorful and clean.
The drinks were great.
I have been quite a few times and don't mind going back.
Very good. We are in search of the best dumplings! These are not them, score 8 filling was very good, but that dough was just to thick. Restaurant very clean. Nice atmosphere and waitress was pleasant. My dish chicken with garlic was very good not spicy enough and it was luke warm. Dad's dish pork chow main was flavorful but pork was sliced way to thin, there were to many onions and totally the wrong noodle. Would I go back? Yes. Would I order the same dish or the dumplings? Not sure. We give it an 8 out of 10.
Made a lunch reservation with my family at Yama Fuji for the grand opening of their hibachi room. I have eaten here for sushi before and know their quality of food and service is excellent. Their hibachi did not disappoint! The hibachi room is spacious, luxurious and a great location to host large and small events. The hibachi chefs are all New York City trained and it showed. Our chef was entertaining, had excellent technique and was playful with us adults as well as our 1 year old nephew, whom he gave a spiderman balloon that he loved. We ordered a variety of foods and had a great time. We will 100% come back and recommend you go try them out as well.
