I went to get my iPhone Xs' charging port fixed; they convinced me that I should also get my cracked screen fixed and that my battery was bloated and 'needed' to also get replaced.
When I got the phone back, it turned on and off EVERY 3 minutes. I called and they said they could check it out again and basically said they couldn't fix it and gave me a refund.
NOW HERE'S THE BAD PART.
My dad's friend is pretty high up in Apple and told me he could fix it (even though usually they don't take phones repaired at other phone shops due to liability). When he examined it he told me that the repair shop replaced all the parts except the motherboard with counterfeit parts. They replaced the back with a glass without the apple logo (which I didn't notice bc I had a case on it), I'll never be able to use the face ID bc they took the part that identifies your face ratios, they scratched the motherboard so bad that parts of it wasn't salvageable, and not to mention all the counterfeit parts. To boot, the charger port that they replaced in the first time has be re-replaced with a fake.
DO NOT GO HERE. I guess they just assumed that I would throw the phone away and they took parts they could use WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND NOT TO MENTION ILLEGAL.
The parts they took are probably going to go into someone else's phone which means if you get your phones replaced here you're getting used maybe even faulty pieces which have been STOLEN put into your phone.

1Up Repairs replaced my iPhone X screen back in August, 2020. It was a bit expensive at $160 at the time. They were able to take the phone from me or schedule an appointment. I did the appointment and took my phone to them over lunch. It was repaired and returned to me within an hour - while I ate lunch next door.
However, this week (February 2021) my screen started malfunctioning. Really not sure what happened. What made me come back to review with 5-stars is that 1Up Repairs replaced the screen and screen protector for free. Basically assuming that their repair should still be in working order. I agree with that - but sometimes tech and repair companies don't lean that way.

Very professional, quick, and good work done, but mostly pleased with how they treated me upon return and backed up their repair quality and integrity.

Went in because a key on my laptop snapped off and was told it'd be $200. At best they were ignorant about a simple repair, at worst trying to upsell me for a 5 minute fix. Can't recommend.

The employees were so friendly and honest about my electronics. Excellent service! I highly recommend coming here to have any batteries replaced or phone screen fixed.

Brought my laptop here to fix the power button; just opening it up will cost you $30 (Standard to other shops in Austin too), but I was told that the whole motherboard needed to be changed and that would cost around $400. I took it to another shop for a second look and to my surprise, it was fully repaired for $150 only; not sure what to make of this, maybe they just missed a minor detail, but I strongly recommend a second diagnosis if you find yourself in a similar situation.

These guys were great and my iPad repair was nice and easy and ready to go the next day. Best price I could find in town and my iPad works like new!

My computer hard drive died. They checked it out on the spot, diagnosed and gave recommendation for a very fair price. They know what they and doing, and my problem was solved fast. Highly recommend.

Don’t get your iPhone screen repaired here! They replaced my cracked iPhone 8 screen with a new screen that practically had all the layers of the screen superglued together. This caused the 3D Touch to not really work, the screen colors to be off, and it cracked way easier then it did before. To get my screen repaired at another place cost more than it should’ve because the new place couldn’t just replace the top layer of the screen because 1up replaced the layers with 1 screen where all the layers are melded together. Save yourself the trouble and get your screen repaired somewhere else

The discoloration and the worse 3D Touch were present right after I got my phone back from y’all and the problems persisted through the screen breaking again. I didn’t contact y’all again because after my experience with 1Up I knew y’all couldn’t get the job done right. When I most recently got my phone repaired at Cell+ER in Houston they could’ve replaced the top layer of the screen if I hadn’t gotten it repaired with 1Up beforehand. Now 10 months later still having to deal with the backlash of getting my phone screen repaired at 1Up, I’m just trying to warn anyone else from going to y’all for phone screen repairs because of the issues I faced both short and long term from going to 1Up.

These guys are amazing! Replaced the battery in my Mac Pro in an hour! Replaced the battery in my iphone 6 in an hour! And they are so friendly and helpful. Why would I ever go anywhere else?

I would not take your phone here. I took my Iphone in yesterday for a quick fix of a cracked screen on top and when I got my phone back not even 3 minutes later it starts acting up and the screen won't work and when I click on the screen something else will start tweaking out. I spent over $100. Do not take your phone here. I now have to go elsewhere to get this problem fixed.

I'd been experiencing problems with my battery and screen on my iPhone for quite some time, so finally I bit the bullet and decided to look into getting it fixed, and I'm glad I went here! The technician was friendly and knowledgeable, and got my iPhone fixed quick. I now have a working phone again, and couldn't be happier. Great prices, great service, and quick turnaround, definitely check them out if you need a phone fixed.

My camera suddenly stopped working on my phone and after freaking out about it, my friend recommended this place. Not only was my phone fixed in 15-20 minutes, but it was priced so well. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The only tough part was parking, but that's manageable! I am sending all my friends here for phone repairs!

Very Helpful! I was on vacation and found out that the new iPhone 8 did not like the 107 degree weather. I thought my phone was gone but the nice gentleman simply reset it and I was back on my way! Thank you very much for your help!

These guys are freaking rock stars. Best buy has been trying to charge me out the *ss to get my laptop fixed for a week. These guys fixed in in one day. I recommend these people a lot. Hell just walk in to check out the cool mural.

Great service and very cheap but the parts used for glass repair are not good. I would suggest going to apple.

Our car keys were broken and we needed a part screwed back on, 1 up Repair fixed it free of charge and now we can go home!
