24 Diner reviews
3824 Hash is unique hash offering. Perfectly sized potatoes have the perfect amount of crisp, sausage hash is delicious and flavorful, cheddar and egg add the finishing touch.
Little pricy but worth it. Was great fodo as always and good service. Cold inside so bring a jacket.
Visiting from San Antonio looking to make Austin my possible home and one of the best reasons to do it is for 24 Diner. It is f**king amazing between the food and the service.

I love most of the food here but 24 Diner made me have to seek dental care:
I was eating their veggie sausage and bit into something tiny white and hard. Honestly I have no idea what it even is. I think maybe a salt compound, oh boy did it hurt!
I had to have x-rays and the dentist said I might have to get a crown. I haven’t ever even had a cavity so this is a really big deal to me. Hopefully my teeth are just bruised but it’s been a few weeks and only minor improvement.
Amazing food. I am vegetarian so I have to be very careful wherever I go eat. I do eat eggs and we order two different plates and I would highly recommend to visit this place amazing food, great location, good customer service and good music. We also order a coffee I need came out perfect.
Hostess and waitress were amazing. Ordered chicken and waffles and they were disappointing. Waffle was soggy with butter and chicken needed more batter and frying.
LOVE this place! Pricier than Kerby Lane or Magnolia, but the vibe is way classier and menu offerings are more upscale, too. Perfect for after 6th debauchery ;)
This place is total awesomeness, farm to table food and drinks.there is a wait but so worth it.our server was harold and he made our day.great food great service.
Food was great with big portions but our Sunday waitress was young and clueless and/or didn't care to try. Had to wave her down multiple times. Place was good with my 3&5yos though as they ran back and forth in the unseated patio area. Would go back again
This is a quaint spot with awesome customer service and food. I played it safe and ordered a hamburger with bacon. They were generous with the bacon. The fries were handcut and delicious. I saw chicken and waffles on others' plates, and OMG, by the looks, I know what I'm ordering the next time!
The food here is a average that's basically what I got to say about that French toast really sucks I rather have your basic type French toast they have some kind of Cuisine type of French toast is not good at all also be more concerned about talking to each other and taking care of their customers to be honest with you I didn't get any silverware I had to get up and get my own but what really took me off the most was the price for the food which was extremely high for what you're getting because when we ordered the breakfast portion of the potatoes were cooked all the way through so you're just got so high score but honestly it's just an average place to go and get food somewhere this late at night in this is the only place to go just go there and get something to eat also the coffee cup that they use is a weird shape it's not loud so it's hard to drink out of it and not spill it which was really odd please bring back the Round cup please
I worked for this company for about 8 weeks, and let me tell you it was a total nightmare. Most of the staff had poor attitudes, actually quite rude and the management team was the actual worst that I have ever worked for. Completely undermining, always confrontational and did not provide an adequate employee - employer relationship. I've never left a review on a previous employer but if you are considering working here, I would highly reconsider. The shifts are upwards of 9 hours, you don't leave with the tips that you make, you are paid bi-monthly. Average checks were 4-6 for two weeks of work. This is not a livable wage in Austin for anyone. Josh, the manager, was the only bright spot. Be forewarned Austinites. This place is labor intensive with zero rewards.
Great dinner after a book signing at book people across the street. Fresh food. Delicious. Great cocktails too. At the end, we split an espresso milk shake that was to die for good. Glad we split because it was super rich.
The atmosphere is modern but comfortable. The waitstaff friendly.
If I find myself nearby again, I’d definitely come back. Who knows, maybe it will be a tradition if I keep going down for book signings.
My wife and I love going to 24. The food, service, and drinks are all great. You can order anything on the menu anytime of day. The prices are average, and the amount of food is huge.
I loved all of the vegan options here! I rarely find a diner that accommodates vegan and gluten-free and even accounts for smaller or larger portion sizing!
One of the best spots of its kind in the area. The service here is above par. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.
Veggie burgers are out of this world! Hope they hire a better bartender than the one I got tonight that was rude and just wanted to pay attention to his friends who were at the bar. Didn’t ask if I needed change or if I needed anything else just ignored me complety and just left the money sitting there and I had to ask someone from the kitchen staff for a to go water and he wasn’t even the one who got tipped.will think twice about making to go orders.
Eggs were fantastic. Bacon was very expensive and nothing to write home about ($4.50 for an order). My waffle which I was most excited about was a bit of a let down. It was not even warm. To be honest it tasted like it had been made two hours before and had been reheated (barely).
Service was great, but the food was dissapointing for the price.
Don't fret if it's busy, it is worth the wait.service is consistently good.the prices are fair for the quality of food.i can see why they have so many great reviews.
