2nd Street District, Austin TX

In recent years second street has been one of the most unique places to visit. As time has worn on its outshone some prime Austin favorites such as 5th street. Highly recommend going here instead of 5th.

This area has amazing shops, restaurants and coffee. Very cool area in downtown Austin.

I feel extremely comfortable in the district.as a woman, this is important.walking around at night feels safe, and there's many well lit areas.during the day there's a comfortable amount of people about and no shortage of shops and eateries.

Name and pictures are miss leading. It is NOT a Mall, it is a shopping district. No parking unless you want to pay 6$ per 20 minute. Homeless people/ homeless camps every where.

Love it down here. But we need to figure out the homeless problem. I honestly don’t know the answer.

Its a really nice spot to enjoy some nice music and food but the homeless problem really needs to be addressed
