Recently moved to 3500 Westlake Apartments from another property in Westlake. So happy that I did. Great apartment, really quiet, and everyone is super friendly. The property is well maintained and they are very responsive to any issues. The leasing staff is also very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Zach for helping us with everything.

We recently moved in and had a great experience. We leased and moved in during Covid-19 which was scary and stressful. Zach went above and beyond to help us with changing our move in date and to make sure everything went smoothly. You can tell the maintenance team do a great job because the property always looks beautiful. I'm excited to call 3500 Westlake my home!

I love this complex and had been eyeing it for a very long time. Zach was honestly the best help and consistently stayed in touch with me through the process. I love the new apartment and definitely think its worth the price.

It's great to live here at 3500 Westlake the maintenance and office staff are excellent the only concern I have is all the animals in the complex and residents don't comply with "quiet hours" but other then that it's a great place to live!

My husband and I are leasing here currently while our new home is being renovated. The leasing process was great- no complaints. But per usual, they will show you world class service when trying to get you to sign the lease and when you move in- it's a different story. Maintenance is great. We were given a floor plan that does not match what we got. We knew going into the move we signed a lease for an ADA compliant apartment. We were told by the leasing office that the only changes would be the height of counters and no garden tubs which was fine. However, we discovered that the floor plan is completely different than what we were given. We found this out less than 12 hours before our move because they let us in the apartment mere an hour before the end of the day. We had to be out of our previous home and no way of making a quick change as our lease had already been signed. We went back to the leasing office and let them know the huge discrepancies between what we were told and what we were given. Management told us they have never stepped foot in our apartment so they were unaware of the huge discrepancies. We asked for a reduction in rent because we don't have the storage we were told we would have. What's worse- I am pregnant with a toddler and am relying on my mom's help when the new Baby arrives. We signed this lease purely because the second bathroom had access from the outside of the second bedroom. When we moved in, we discovered it only has access from the second bedroom. That leaves my mom high and dry in the middle of the night when she was planning to stay with us the weeks after baby arrival to help. So now she will have to get a hotel room, which doesn't help me in the middle of the night. When all these things were brought to the attention of the management team, they came back with all this legal jargon which basically says your floor plan won't be what you signed up for. So leaser beware- you won't get what you think you are getting! We asked for a mere couple hundred dollars less in rent since it's not what we signed up for- and they would rather have a couple hundred dollars more a month than a happy customer. Another lesson to be learned by future renters.they don't care about your satisfaction once you are a renter! I should also mention this is not my first run in with a situation with Greystar.

My boyfriend and I were looking for apartments and toured this place first as it was the most appealing to us due to location.

I scheduled the tour for 10am, which is when the leasing office opens. We arrive to find the leasing office closed and waited until the leasing agent, Rhiannon, drove into the lot and she seemed like she had just rolled out of bed. It was only about 5 minutes which was not bad but she proceeded to walk past us without saying anything and she began to start opening up the leasing office (turning on the lights, AC, logging into the computer).

At this point I was already a little annoyed because I had scheduled another tour for 11: 15 am and didn't want to be rushed touring this apartment since it was my #1 option. After 10 minutes she asks how she can help and I told her I had scheduled a 10am appointment. She gets up and begins to close down the office so we can go on our tour. We walk outside and she says that she forgot the keys to the unit so she had to go back. We waited for her outside and when she returned she tells us she has to go get the golf cart and asked us to wait in the parking lot.

It is now 10: 20 and we have not even gone on the tour nor has she given me any information on available units, the community, pricing, etc. We go to the unit and she does nothing to sell the apartment. She gives us a very generic tour without telling us anything about the unit, any renovation plans, the location benefits, etc. She just stood there and just repeatedly asked us if we liked what we saw. Usually leasing agents will get to know the people that are applying and ask us our priorities for an apartment so that they can tell us important information that they think we will most benefit from.

When we returned to the office, I asked her if I can get a paper copy of the units with their pricing and she tells me to go grab a brochure from a different desk and makes me write the prices down myself. I also asked her to email me the quote with the link to start an application and she never did.

I had such a bad experience with her that my boyfriend and I chose not to move forward with this location. I only gave it one star because the apartment itself is nice. However I want to be able to trust my management team and I felt like I could not after the experience that I had with their leasing agent who is supposed to be the first face of the apartment complex.

I toured with my boyfriend yesterday, and the property is absolutely gorgeous. The leasing agent was very friendly yet professional, and the maintenance staff took time to wave at us while we were touring. We are still looking at other places, but this is definitely a top contender!

We love it here. A nice little slice of heaven in a very busy city. The amenities are fantastic and the people of work here are great.

Firstly, there is not enough parking. I know everywhere in Austin says that but this complex legitimately does not have enough parking spots for the amount of residence. The property management is fully aware of this fact but will try to gloss over it. If you do not find a spot in time you will be forced to park at the office on top of the hill which is no easy hike. Also, the onsite property management employees are awful. They use gossip to try to file any warning possible and are not nice or pleasant at all once you sign the lease. They act like you are the enemy instead of a paying customer. This is not just my personal experience either but many who live here. Dechele is by far the worst and will make your life at this property a nightmare like she enjoys it. She leaves unnecessary and rudely toned voice mails while you are busy at work and passive aggressive warnings for the smallest things for you to come home to. Finally, it is just too expensive for what you are getting. This has been the worst living experience of my entire life and double what I paid for my last terrible experience. Let me reiterate, DO NOT MOVE HERE, under any circumstance.

Great property management company. Maintenance is always very prompt and friendly. Rarely do I have an issue with anything here. The biggest issue is parking, but is normally not too bad. Insulation in the unit is awesome so my electric bill is not high at all.

I, and my roommate have repeatedly told the front office there are multiple dogs, and irresponsible dog owners who leave their dogs to bark all day and all night. My last email went unanswered. This occurs daily, from 5pm all the way until 11pm. Whether or not, the dog is inside of the apartment or not, the owners do not take any responsibility and the office managers have not enforced any noise policies.

The front office also does not enforce their own parking policies. People who have reserved garage spots will still park in open parking spots and the towing company has never patrolled to remove untagged cars. After 6pm finding a parking spot can be difficult and there have been occasions where I have to park outside of the gates.

Best apartment complex in Westlake! The hill country views and the waterfall pool are incredibly relaxing. Other amenities are first class and well-maintained, including the glass-enclosed, modern gym which faces the waterfall pool. The entertainment/coffee/full kitchen area with large screen TV is impeccably clean and quiet, no matter what time of day we are there. It's also fun to attend the resident events which happen a few times per month. When we moved in, our spacious, modern 3/2.5 apartment with wood floors and large L-shaped patio was pristine and lovely! New updated carpeting had been installed in all the bedrooms, and a new mirror was placed in one of the bathrooms. When I walked in to view the unit after it became vacant, maintenance was polishing the wood cabinets in the kitchen. Great attention to detail! Our outdoor patio had room for a professional ping-pong table for the kids and a seating area, too. In addition, our patio area included a garden area with grass and a beautiful tree. This is all enclosed with a gate and is private just for us, yet it is all maintained by management. Just a phenomenal living experience! For us, maintenance personnel have been trustworthy, responsive and personable. Security is a priority here. The exterior community gates work consistently and resident key fobs are required for each common area, including the pool. For parents, that is so important! Many kudos to Greystar property manager, Martin, assistant manager, DeChelle, and leasing representative, Tom. The leasing process was efficient and stress-free. I applied online. Tom is very personable and attentive, and a great representative of 3500 Westlake. Martin and DeChelle are top-notch professionals. They are responsive, focused and detailed managers who strive to keep 3500 Westlake the beautiful, modern, well-maintained, and neighborly community that it is. Martin and DeChelle have many years of experience and it shows. DeChelle has been very attentive and accommodating as a property manager, and has made it a priority to get to know our family as residents. Martin and DeChelle are a lovely team for 3500 Westlake.

Irresponsible dog owners are ruining this place for all residents. After multiple complaints of loud, incessant dog barking from a certain resident leaving their dog outside all hours of day and night, no action has yet been taken from the office. Pet-friendly complexes should still follow through on policies from noise violations (especially late at night) and owners failing to control or take responsibility for their animals. The most annoying jack terrier in the world lives here, and is allowed to freely bark from 6 - 11 PM daily with the most annoying little yaps while the owners either blissfully ignore him or aren't at home. Management is taking absolutely no action after multiple complaints of the exact same apartment, exact same dog. I will modify this review if I see the goddamn dog owners being held accountable - the rest of the apartment is great. But if I can't sleep or enjoy a moment's peace in my home and management won't follow their own clearly outlined policies in the lease, I don't give a damn about how nice it looks.

The maintenance workers are thieves! BEWARE! The lawn caretakers/illegals are sketchy also!
Do NOT rent at this apartment complex.

No matter how great a place is.there will always be someone who has something bad to say. But let me tell you how GREAT my experience (as well as many others) has been! The employees here are SO professional with caring personalities. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and welcomed with open arms. They uncovered my needs and did their best to accommodate them. I’ve lived here for 8 months with NO issues. I will be resigning my lease! VERY well kept and quiet place, great for anyone!

The staff was very professional and this apartment complex will absolutely be the next location I live in. The apartment itself is clean and well-maintained. The tenants seem to be clean and mindful of other residents. I don't usually write reviews, but Tom at the main office was very easy to work with (this was at 9 AM on a Monday morning!).

When I called back to apply, another leasing professional answered and treated me as if I was there customer while Tom was busy. I currently live with Bell Tech and I am absolutely willing to increase me rent slightly to live here.

This place has some super friendly staff! I've had the pleasure of being helped by all three staff members in the office. Melaine and Tom helped me decide that 3500 Westlake was the place for me to move. De'Chelle was terrific answering questions on rent, water, pets, trash, and parking.

Our neighbors are great. I'm amazed at how many dog lovers live here. The dog park is great and the office has a great "dog bar" for community pets.

I moved into a first floor and was really reluctant to do so as I worry about the upstairs neighbors tromping around while I try to sleep. I have yet to hear them and they have a small child and a dog.

The maintenance staff is very friendly and wave to me as I pass them in the parking lot. The property is very well kept. They are currently undergoing a "face lift" of sorts with me paint and fencing.

I highly recommend moving here.

No sure what are these one star reviews here. We have been at Westlake since almost a year now and this community is far the best in Austin. We spent quite a time to search and glad we found it. Great school district, well maintained, clean, easy parking. Love it so far.
