Horrible service. I asked her for a design and initially said she could do it and mid way after that said she couldn’t do it. Save your money don’t go here

They are extremely talented! They made my wife's nail look like she was doing a Hollywood red carpet event! It's been some days now, and her nails still look wet! They are the best in Austin, Texas!

Vivi is the best! She made my nails so beautiful and was very careful and had great attention to detail. This will now be my go to spot for my nails.

I came here for a lovely pedicure and they did great! They were super gentle, very sweet, and made my day so much better. The paint job itself was very well done, and I believe I’ll be coming back again soon:) the staff is kind, caring, and it’s a great affordable spot

Person who did my feet didn’t do a good job. She did not do the same process with both feet even after being told she forgot some steps. Manicure didn’t last a week. Staff were friendly but the work was not good.

Unfortunately, I've had a terrible experience at this salon. I had a gel mani pedi done two weeks ago (on September 3rd) and while the staff were friendly and the salon itself is clean, I've had many issues. The manicurist cut me deeply on my pinkie finger and it drew a lot of blood. When I pointed this out, she said she had no idea what happened and that maybe I had it before my manicure or that it was my previous colour. I was definitely not bleeding before coming in and was wearing yellow polish, not red. I had to ask several times if she could fix it but she ignored the injury. I insisted and she said to just go wash my hands and the blood would come off. The wound kept bleeding but she didn't care and said she had no idea what happened and that it wasn't her doing. Accidents can happen but I don't appreciate being injured and then being lied to. The wound was painful and took several days to heal. As for the pedicurist, who was far more professional, one of my nails was very uneven and I asked if she could fix it, which she barely did. I am not picky about my nails but I shouldn't have to come home and fix the job. I filed down my toenail that was pointy and crooked and on the same hand with the injury, I realized that some cuticles hadn't been trimmed which I also had to fix myself. Now it's been 2 weeks and my nails have grown and one of my fingernails was cut so poorly that I have a serious ingrown nail that I've had to try my best to fix. It's been very painful for several days. I get my nails done at the salon precisely to avoid having hangnails or ingrown nails, not to create injuries. I can't recommend this salon in good faith and it's a shame because I am a student who appreciated the discount and the close location to campus. I'm glad that others have had good experiences but this has been a really poor experience for me.

I unfortunately would not be coming back to this location. The ladies were very friendly but the manicure was not done well and my pedicure was okay, they didn't really scrub the dry skin away on my heel and the paint job is okay. I just don't think 80$ for basic Mani and Pedi with this quality of work is worth it.

Nice and quiet place to do your nails. The price is in range and the service was good but not perfect because the results was not as the picture i showed her but also not bad. They give 5% discount for students.

Great staff awful nail set. I get my nails done every 3 weeks. I've never had a nail set (powder) look so messy the day after. The top later started to peel 5-6 hours after. By the morning it was a mess.

This is my first time visiting a nail salon in the Austin area, I came here for an acrylic nail removal and was maimed. Three of my nails are overly flimsy and uneven. I found myself pulling back and flinching from the long strides done to my nails in order to shave of the acrylic. After removing ALL of the acrylic from my nails, the nail tech then proceeded to prepare for a soak off. She then went in again with ANOTHER electric file that was shaving off my actual nail (shaving off the top layer of polish, doing a soak off and then going in with a cuticle pusher should’ve been the maximum). From the burning done to my nail beds and constant bumping to my cuticles i decided to leave mid-service (i paid, i was not trying to be tackled over $15). After I announced my decision to leave she then pulled out a cushion file and i was repeatedly urged to stay and finish by multiple employees. I felt so much unease about the whole process, from the status of sterilization of the tools used and to the lack of care and patience given to me during the removal. I am still shaking and in pain from this experience and I wish I left sooner.

Really nice people but not the best nail painting job. Pretty much wrecked my toe nails for a few weeks and it was painful. Very bubbly and inconsistent gel manicure application but nice add ons for the mani and pedi

I just moved here and I trusted 5 star nails. I got a gel manicure here and it was awful. The paint job was terrible. I am currently trying to take the polish off and my natural nail is completely destroyed. It looks like I got acrylic. I am so disappointed. The staff is kind, but I will not be going back. I do not recommend.

Daniel did such a good job on my nails and gave me exactly what I asked for! Fair prices too. I will be returning!

Best manicure ever! Vivi did my nails, and was so thorough! She made sure it looked perfect. So happy with this experience! My boyfriend got the deluxe manicure, and the nail tech (we forgot to ask her name) did such a relaxing arm massage for him! 10/10 experience for both of us!

Come here for nail polish application, but don’t come for removal. They will use the drill until your nails are literally burning. The last time I got my nail polish removed here, it took months for the damage done to my nails to grow out. My other salon at home (I’m a student) uses the drill sparingly and mostly relies on soaking the nails in remover. 5 star forever is the opposite. When they use the drill so much it physically hurts, and still keep going, you have to wonder how they don’t realize they’re doing it incorrectly.
