A & B Liquors Inc, Austin TX

Service was horrible, very rude store clerk who wanted us out the door the moment we got there. Her replies were not welcoming at all and they were false advertising discounts. We got to the counter and she wanted us to pay more or get out, horrible liquor store.

To the owner, thank you for being responsive. I have decided to edit my review because I was being unjust on labeling the whole store as a negative place, rather the one lady store clerk was our big issue. Other employees were courteous and attentive and overall, the selection and quality of the place was good. To answer your response about the false advertising, the one clerk I am complaining about rejected our claim that a bottle was cheaper than what she was charging us despite a blatant sticker that said otherwise (ultimately got fixed for us by one of the other employees after a a short back and forth). I walk in here and want to lean on something and crack jokes in the A/C surrounded by my finest comrades-Jack, Paul, Johnny, Jerry, Castillo, Ronrico, Jose, Stolichnaya, other Jack, gentlemen all. And not be thrown out for being too creepy. Kidding I love this store and everyone in it, they make me feel like a somebody no matter what a wastoid hag I may look like that day, or who I'm cursing when I breeze in. They know it's not them. Bought online and picked up at the store. When I picked up the bottle it was quick and easy. I will definitely buy from them again!

Been here a couple times and the experience was amazing. Best liquor store in Austin hands down. Found some really good deals.

Took photos and pictures unwillingly because they assumed my peers where "too drunk" without them consuming a drop of liquor.

The guys in here are pretty laid back, helpful, and funny. Store is bright and clean, and they stay open til 9. Not 8: 45 like a lot of package stores do.

Bad customer service, and very racist. I was there with my laptop looking for a liquor. I asked the lady in the front for what I needed it, and the. She look at me like I was crazy. Then it was only two people at the store, I had my laptop and they asked me to leave the store because I couldn’t have my laptop with me. I explained that if I leave the laptop in the car something could happen and they still didn’t care. They pretty much say that I was going to steal something. Then they didn’t have any sign with the policy of not having a bag. Which it was a laptop bag. The. I left and they laughed. So I wouldn’t recommend it here. I will suggest if you going to apply a policy it should be to everyone.:)

The store is kept very clean and fully stocked. The employees are nice and ready to help. And they almost always have really good impulse display sales.

When getting Liquor you usually don't care to focus on the lack of enthusiasm that awaits you behind the register. This store has employees that actually engage and are quick to help make your shopping experience great again. TRUMP 2024

Been going here for years. Real nice funny guys. They have lots of deal. Good recommendation. Owners are really friendly guys. Lot of local liquor maker stop by and promote their product. And good selection of beer next door.

Nice people with pretty good selection. 3 star rating for marking up allocated bourbon to prices higher than you find on secondary internet sites. I'd shop here exclusively if they put those bottles on the shelf at or near MSRP.
