Prices are decent but they have the worst customer service. They will not answer their phone after certain time in the afternoon or you will be on hold for long long time. If you look for lower rates, go for it. If you want good customer service, which should be the expectation for a customer, forget about it. ZERO ️ for customer service.

I paid a deposit on 4/6, but due to their error on the policy I chose not to sign and asked for a full refund. The manager was very unprofessional and after speaking with Suly with American Auto Insurance Company which is who I was obtaining the policy through assured me that the policy wad canceled on their end and that amax is suppose to refund me while on 3way call she wad able to hear the run around they were giving me. I didn't sign the policy and want my full refund. Other insurance was obtained the same day. Still no refund yet. An apology isn't acceptable yall still haven't refunded my money which is theft. THE PAPERS WERE NEVER SIGNED! I obtained other Insurance the same day. Yet today 4/7 yall are sending me emails and texts to sign the papers. All evidence. REFUND MY MONEY ITS CALLED THEFT. NO GOODS WERE OBTAINED BY AMAX

Maria accomplished in 15 minutes what all other agent for Amax and Kemper could not do in three weeks! She gave outstanding customer service! That means she did what she said she would do, not just gave lip service to someone on w the phone! Outstanding, Amax is blessed to have her on the team.

The people here will help you to there benefit, but when they make an error of $330 it is not there fault. They cancelled my insurance and did not notify me until I came to pay for the month and then they said we were cancelled because of an error in the way the forms were filled out. Bobbie the Supervisor is no help and very unprofessional. She claims that they owes us nothing back because of the error and that they were not going to reinstate the insurance because of the error. The young man that helped us was not properly trained and she said it was not there fault. She was of NO help. Maria was very nice and patient and instructed to have her call the cops and have us removed from there office because I told them they were not properly taking care of us. Bobbie said, we should have noticed and realized that it was done incorrect. "Like if I do there job daily" I have been with this company for years and with this type of treatment they lost a loyal customer. I will never recommend any one for Auto Insurance with this company. They lack training and people skills.
