A-MAX Auto Insurance, San Antonio TX

When I first got with A-MAX this year I was so happy. But every time I had to call up there they would have the phone ringing forever and never answer or would have me on hold then hang up then not answer! They made my calls very complicated then the rate went up and they took FOREVER! To send me my documents over the phone so I was waiting at my car dealership till night time because they took forever to send my documents. And to top that they misspelled my name and when I ask them to fix it they only fixed one part and the rest still had my name misspelled. I honestly was so frustrated with how long it took them to answer my calls or how they would never answer and couldn’t fix a simple mistake. I got insurance with a different company that made it very simple and well organized. I couldn’t wait to get away from amax. And my insurance is way cheaper now.

Customer service needs to do better. And the company u was connected to through amax which was American access was horrible! When my car was stolen and recovered it took them 4 months to finally give me my car and didn’t even total it when my car was worth the same as the damages.when they repaired my vehicle that was in a crime scene they repaired it with used parts. Thankfully my trade in was able to help me get a new car but the insurance appraiser did not want to help me at all! I’m very disappointed overall. This year was hell.

This location is trash. Two different females have hung up in my face this morning & oh what do you know, now they not answering the phone!

Been with this 3rd party company for over 5 yrs and they are professional, and have competitive rates. Highly recommended

Just agents can't help with insurance claims. Never knew that they are limited on what they can do.

Naomi & Jesinia I think their names were are GREAT. Did not get a name of the third girl, probably didn’t give it to me because she knows she was being very rude but yes her. She likes to hang up the phone, not give information that is asked & also ignored my call right after a couple of times. I had to call from a new number & they answered right away. I hope she does not grow in this agency, would be horrible for business. I also hope she grabs on to some customer service skills, because she currently has 0.

Amazing clerk's very helpful; if they can. Therefore, they don't make the rate/price it's what it is.

I hate being transferred around to different offices each time I call. I’ve been hung up on when calling within 10mins of closing time

They have pretty cheap insurance if you just need liability. I always feel like they're understaffed though.
