My appreciation for Irma and the teachers at A New Day goes beyond words. We love this school, it has been instrumental in helping our son become the smart, capable and happy boy he is.
The clean and inviting space creates a happy environment for learning and play. We loved the structure, respect and strong relationships.
We genuinely felt that Ms Irma and her team worked hard to ensure our child’s unique needs are met. They've created a loving, respectful and playful preschool where our son did not want to leave at the end of the day, so we knew we made the right choice. Quality childcare!

Our daughter started A New Day a year ago and we feel so lucky to have found this place. We had some pretty bad experiences at some of the bigger childcare chains and we noticed an almost immediate change in our daughter when she started here. She adores Irma, often times prefers her teachers to me, and surprises me everyday with how much she's learning there. If you're looking for a school that your kid will love and an owner who will love your kid, look no further. Also your kid will get to hang out with my kid everyday, and she's super cool.

My two kids both went to A New Day and we love the school! Irma, Gayle, and the rest of the teachers are loving and care for your kids the way you would. They also prepare them for Kindergarten really well. My kids made the transition with ease and love learning and school. The lower teacher-to-student ration gives extra attention to each child, so they really get to know the teachers. The school is very organized and I always got really fun art projects coming home. My daughter is in 5th grade and still talks about Mrs. Irma. She wants to work at A New Day for her first after-school job and is trying to figure out how to make it work.:) We stay in touch and take the kids by to say hi to their favorite teachers. You and your kids will be super happy at A New Day!

Have been using a New Day Child Development Center for a little over a year and I have only great things to say. The instructors really care about the children and facilitate learning in fun ways. I trust them with my son and I do not feel the constant need to check in. My son has also made new friends there and genuinely enjoys going to daycare.

Absolutely love A New Day! Ms. Irma and her staff have the biggest hearts for the high energy, stubborn, and sensitive kids! They give them healthy boundaries and show lots of love in harder moments. I truly know they care about my son. Ms. Gayle is my son’s current teacher and he loves her. She is so patient with him and teaches him SO much. They love to focus on Kinder readiness, making that transition so much smoother. The facility is always CLEAN and my son has rarely been sick. The staff truly have our kids health, happiness and safety in mind! I would highly recommend A New Day CDC!

My daughter started attending in 2016 and has grown beautifully (socially and academically) while at the school. There are days she doesn't even want to come home!

The staff is always pleasant and professional, the school itself is beautiful, and I'm not sure what I would do without them!

I moved to Lakeway in August of 2016 with my son Gavin who was around 2 years old at the time. I am a single father 7 days a week. When I moved to Lakeway, I had just enrolled and started classes at Texas State University in San Marcos. I was also still working full time (16hr shifts) over the weekend for a residential treatment center for adolescent males in CPS in Mountain Home, Texas. Needless to say, I had a lot on my plate with work, school, parenting, the move, and all the stress that comes from any major life changing event. A New Day was the third daycare that I visited in the area, and after leaving, didn't have the need to look at any more. When I walked in for my tour, it was “story time”. There was one teacher reading a book in front of the entire child population with the remainder of the other teachers supervising behind the group of children. I vividly remember being blown away at how attentive and well behaved all of kids were, and how amazing the teacher was at making that happen. That experience of being shocked by the daycare was not a one-time thing. Irma and the staff at A. N. D.made one of the hardest times of my life a lot easier. I can't put into words how much it means as a parent to not have to worry about your child when you are an hour away at work or school. She gave me peace of mind which is priceless. She also gave me support. I did not have to miss one class during the two semesters Gavin was at A New Day. He got sick a couple of times but she went out of her way to help me find someone to watch him, sometimes even doing it herself. On top of it all, they helped my son exceed his developmental age markers, were very communicative on how is day was and what to work on at home, and honestly made me a better parent. They are the best in mine and Gavin's experience of being enrolled in three different facilities and having toured close to ten.

We love this place! Mrs Irma and the other teachers here are great. My daughter has such a wonderful time here!

We had a wonderful experience at A New Day. Our only regret was that we didn't go there sooner. Irma was amazing and so was her staff. It's a warm, loving and homey environment and every day after drop off I had a great feeling walking to my car. Ms. Gayle and Ms. Abby were great teachers (they all were) who really cared and worked hard to get our kids ready for kindergarten. There were always fun activities planned and the kids really loved it. I never had a doubt leaving my kids in their care. After only a few short months, my kids were ready for kindergarten! Highly recommend!

I could not appreciate the work A New Day has done with our son any more! We feel that he is safe, getting a great educational start, and most importantly is loved by every member of that wonderful staff. I cannot say enough fabulous things about what they have built and I'm tremendously thankful for all the hard work they've put in to providing an amazing experience for our little guy.

Miss Irma and her team know exactly what little kids and their parents need. When I pick up my children, they tell me that they aren't ready to go home yet. The teachers' day-to-day care of the children is unlike anything I have ever witnessed - setting out their lunches, applying sunscreen or bug spray, and repacking their backpacks with everything at the end of the day. This is in addition to the loving care and learning that they provide throughout the day. All the special programs - field trips, Christmas program, holiday parties - also really help to create a fun and special experience. As a picky parent, I HIGHLY recommend A New Day as a safe, loving environment for your little one.

My 3 year old Son has been going to this Day care for 2 weeks now and HE LOVES IT! He has Ms. Mary as a teacher and tells me how they play and color ect. The whole staff including the director Irma have been nothing but welcoming to me and all my first time daycare questions. They are wonderful and 100% recommended!
