We had A Plus Inspections of Texas come check our new home build in Montgomery, Tx. Paul Ferguson and Chris Beasley were right on time. They were extremely friendly and polite. They removed their shoes or wore shoe covers any time they entered the home which was greatly appreciated. None of the home inspectors that I’ve used in the past cared enough to do that!
Both of them got straight to work after giving me a little rundown on what to expect and what they’d be checking. I stayed out of their way for the most part but both Mr. Ferguson and Mr. Beasley would stop and answer my questions whenever I had one. They were VERY thorough in their explanation but didn’t make it too complicated to understand.
I also paid to have them do a couple of the other services that they offer. In addition to the basic home inspection, they also performed an air quality test to check for mold or other organics inside of the home since there had been a water leak in the bathroom. They also inspected the sewer line with a fiber-optic video camera to make sure that there were no issues there. I’m very glad that they checked the sewer line because there was an issue found that the builder is going to correct after they saw the report. They even included checking that the foundation was level in the price of the basic home inspection!
I can’t recommend A Plus Inspections of Texas highly enough! Their prices were reasonable and they did an amazing job on the inspection! They had a very detailed report to me within a couple of hours with pictures of all of the issues found and they even sent me an abbreviated summary that showed the highlights. Paul even sent me the video footage of the the sewer inspection so that I could share it with the builder if necessary. They also listed the reasons for the deficiencies needing repair or improvement in the report which made it MUCH easier for the builder to accept their findings and agree to make the changes.
I plan on having them come out for a follow up inspection before closing after the builder corrects the issues that were found. They far out performed the other inspection companies that we’ve used and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of a home inspection!

We had Ron as our inspector and he was great to work with, on time, thorough, and provided us with the report the same day as the inspection. We had to reschedule multiple times throughout the process and Paul was always patient and understanding. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

I cannot recommend these guys enough. They were flexible to accommodate my rushed schedule. They were at the house right on time. Very detailed inspection with lots of pictures and explanation of why the different findings are considered issues. They were very patient on the walkthrough showing all the findings and going the extra mile if we had any further question. They delivered the report the same day. Very reasonable pricing. We'll definitely use them again.

Received great service from Paul, Chris, and his team. They inspected 1950's home recently remodeled and found some significant issues that made me reconsider. A Plus Inspection of Texas performed an inspection on a home for us which is currently under construction. Paul found things that were really important that needed attention immediately. As a disabled veteran I really appreciated the quality and professionalism of the report received. Even if you are building a new home, please get an inspection, it will save you money and make sure your home is built to last.

They did a great job. Extremely detailed, I had some questions once I got off work and was able to look at the report the inspector Chris Called me at 7pm just to answer my questions and put my mind at ease. Also they were the cheapest I found and did a terrific job. If I ever need another inspection I am going back to these guys and will recommend them.

A Plus inspections did a great job with our New construction Home Inspection in Houston. They sent two inspectors. Both were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain elements of the home that I was not familiar with since I was moving from out of state. The report was extremely thorough and highlighted items that were a safety concern, those that needed repair and those to be monitored. I was able to send the report right over to the builder to initiate the repairs that were needed prior to close. I would definitely recommend this company!

As a Realtor, this is one of my all-time favorite inspection companies. They go the extra mile to make sure there hasn’t been moisture penetration, and they look for any vulnerabilities that would allow moisture penetration, mold, etc. They are super thorough about everything else as well.
