A Thru Z Pediatrics, San Antonio TX

Doesn't notify new patients of policies. We are a military family who recently moved to the area and had to cancel an appointment because we thought we needed an annual physical, but then our school said we didn't. Then they couldn't get our sick child in in a timely manner (we needed urgent care before their appt) and we canceled again. Both times we notified the office, after lengthy waits on hold each time. (We weren't no-shows). Then they dropped us as patients, with absolutely zero notice of their policy. What an awful lack of communication on their part.

A-Z has always worked us in to accommodate being seen as soon as possible. They make me feel heard. They listen when I have concerns about the baby. There's a tri-pendemic happening right now and they're so caring at A-Z. I have walked out of other pediatricians thinking I should switch or get a second opinion. But not at A-Z. Thank you for all yall do for me and my family.

I been bringing my children for 7 years to this clinic and never had a problem til now with the new supervisor and schedule people in the medical center location.i honestly never have been treated so bad and most when my child is sick they giving me problems

I keep calling to make appointment but the phone number I call says they are closed, I call during normal business hours.
Did they get a new number?

They don’t even listen to what you say and make appointments without letting you know at ANOTHER location 100% recommend you don’t come here they don’t care

Mr. Rocket is a great provider and I enjoyed coming here with my kids. The front desk however are garbage. They are rude, inconsiderate and turn you away when you are not even late. I will be finding a new provider because of the front office staff and their children that they bring to work and keep behind the reception desk…

So they've tried to charge me sick visits twice now with insurance once for my son's physical and giving his history they went from well visit to sick visit. Then when I called recently to ask what to give my kids for sea sickness of they get it on a cruise they billed me a sick visit for over the phone simple question! They will find a method to be unethical in the Healthcare billing manor. I've filed a complaint with BCBS.

No one ever answers the phone. When I had to get my son Covid tested they told us pull up at the roundabout, call them and wait. They said they would be out as soon as we called. 30min waiting outside in the heat and still no one was answering my calls. Walked in to the office and there was a handful of girls sitting at the front desk but nun of them could answer the phone.
Now I’m calling again to make an appointment and Iv been on hold for 10min. With no human interaction.

I really love to go see Mr. Rocket for my son’s checkups! So far so good. He’s very positive and helpful. Thank you Mr. Rocket!

I never get to see my child’s pcp unless it’s a check up & even then it’s rare. You’re constantly seeing a different doctor every visit even for annual check ups. I’ve been trying to get my child to see a urologist for over a month yet the urologist they referred us to has no record of my daughter. I’ve called 5 times to get A thru Z to fax it to them but it still hasn’t gone through. I finally gave up & switched my daughters pcp.

Been with Dr. Rocket since ny son was born. Very caring, attentive and fun going with him. Would highly recommend!

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE ALMOST 5 STARS! My 14 month old has been seen here since he was born. I notice they are in and out but at a point seemed dismissive. I had too pull teeth to get an ENT referral. Issues with them sending over authorization I even went to the extent of adding my son to my insurance (when I am on a leave and do not know if I am returning (medical reasons). Still this office didn't send the info until a month later and finally my son has an appt in Oct. Today, I scheduled a same day (last appt of day) because my son has a rash that widespread overnight. We attended a baby shower and might have caught hand foot mouth disease from another attendee. We waited because the desk said they had to verify insurance. Mind you they had this info for 3 weeks now. Anyways after waiting 10 min they said they could not see him because they could not verify the primary insurance they need to reschedule or go to urgent care. All the while my 14 month has a painful full body rash! I cannot believe they would not see my son who is an established patient and most importantly a baby who needed care. They sound like they care about money more than their patients. My son will never step foot in this office. I would suggest taking your child elsewhere. Maybe the extra money I'm going to pay for the ER visit is worth the compassion we'll get there because none wasngiven here.smh p.s. While we are loaded up our son to leave we see the front staff taking off for the day with the doctors.seems like maybe they didn't want to see another patient and rather go home. I should have been told hours before to go to the urgent care, moreover, and most importantly it should have been verified weeks ago!

Amazing place. They really listened to my concerns and helped me get my kid the referral he needed for speech therepy. Super happy with the doctors and front desk people

Kristie is always so thorough and professional when she examines my daughter. We always get great service!

Dr. Rocket is amazing with our 2 year old daughter and 6 month old son! He made them feel comfortable and provided exceptional information about their growth and development.
