Mark is one of the most helpful persons in the used auto parts business, he will not do you wrong. The owners are great people they are highly commited to running this place at top level service.

Helpful staff. They keep inventory of parts in stock and the quoted cost includes the service of them pulling parts for you (can't do it yourself). Competitive prices and they also offer 3.5% discount for paying with cash.

Bought an engine for $504.had blown lower intake gasket. Mixing oil and coolant.pretty bad engine for $500. The reason didnt pull one from junk yard myself was becuase I didnt want to deal with putting a bad engine in.

The gentleman at the front desk is very knowledgeable of the parts I was looking for. You can tell that he has been working there for several years. I will definitely go back to A1 self service auto parts and recomend you do the same.

Original post date is 3 years ago its November of 2019 now means it was from 2016 so it's for the correct place correct company and correct address also you can change the paint and the name outside but probably will always be the same ripoff company inside

Minimum charge of 20 dollars and 3 dollars to use a dedt card! One employee was very helpful and positive then when I got to the counter to pay I was now dealing with someone else that was rude and wouldn't answer my questions. Worst experience I've had! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT COMING TO THIS PLACE.

Mark was great and not even honored but beat a fellow companys price. I highly recommend this place hard to find fair people with fair prices.

The best customer service ever! My son wrecked his first car with only liability on it, they have been life savers. Finding a trustworthy place to find affordable parts has really put my mind at ease. I will continue to come here in the future. They really make you feel comfortable and at ease.

Honestly can say this is the BEST self auto parts I have been to in San Antonio. Staff is very helpful and honest. They are not there to just take your money, they are there to help you as well. Not a selfish company at all. Highly Recommend buying your parts from here

I go here all the time for parts. They usually have what I need and if they don't, they get it for me within a day or two. I'll keep coming here as long as my POS car is causing me problems. Thanks guys!

Texas stinks when you're drivers window doesn't work. But thank God A 1 Self Service took care of that for me! Excellent customer service & knowledge!

The place is the cleanest junkyard I've ever been in. The guy who runs the place is awesome, super helpful. The other guy is very knowledgeable as well. Decent prices, ok inventory. Always leave feeling like I got a great deal.
