Regret going through them. Should have stuck with RAC. I’m a single mom who left an abusive relationship, so I had to start over on everything. After two years I decided it was time for a bigger couch for me and my growing son. Everything was fine, I found one I liked at Aaron’s and the lady was really nice setting up my agreement. Until two months into the agreement, I had to have emergency surgery and missed an entire week of work, on top of that my bank cancelled my rent making me extremely behind. I called Aaron’s ahead of time and told them I would be late and explained why. The guy said he would notate it in my account, he did not. He also said it was okay for me to be a week late since I had always been on time. Obvious lies. The day the transaction was supposed to go through they still tried to charge me. It was obviously declined. I was struggling with money very bad. The week goes by and the money is in my account to take out like usual on Saturday and I think everything is okay. When I hear a knock on my door at 9pm at night. Usually I would be asleep but I had guests over for my sons bday party. They charged me a $22 late fee, which was NOT mentioned at all. Not only was it extremely embarrassing having this guy come over trying to take the sectional but it was completely UNNECESSARY. They didn’t even try calling, texting, or emailing me before just showing up to my place. Communication is absolutely horrible. If they would have contacted me I would have told them the money was in my account ready to take out. I had to use my sons bday money to pay the stupid never mentioned late fees. If my son didn’t love the couch so much I would tell them to come take it because their nasty customer service isn’t worth it. RAC was polite and understanding about my situation and I had no issues with them. Regret regret regret. Paying them off as fast as I can and never going through them ever again. These people are horrible and not compassionate at all. They are everything you DONT want customer service to be. Guarantee you they won’t even read this and the same generic comment will be made under my review

We had been renting from Aarons for numerous years. Throughout the years, we have bought numerous products from them. We decided to sell our house. Prior to us selling the house we had to get it ready. Everything was in tip top shape! Due to the selling thus us returning the TV as well as the sectional. Prior to the pick up of these products, our house was an excellent excellent condition! Aarons delivery drivers were kind enough to damage the trim scratch it all up they dug so deep into it made a groove into the trim. Called talk to chance that same day asked me to send pictures I did with chance. Head asked me said I’ll call you back never heard from him. I had to reach out to him. When I reached out to him all of a sudden he said that this damage is already done, which is ridiculous. If so, how would we sell our house everything else in this house scratch free except the door they went out through. Where did advise if you get any products from Aarons and they pick it up. Please make sure you take a picture before they walk out that door because they will damage. They will scratch it and they will say it was not them shame on you chance for doing a sarong never again while we go back to Aarons I do not recommend Where did advice if you get any products from Aarons and they pick it up. The WORST employee is Matt. Who calls someone’s phone at 8 am (which is even not the store hours) when I’ve already called during the week to get the payment scheduled that drafts from my card with no problem every single time. It makes no sense to interrogate a good customer. When you should clearly see the notes in your system! First time I’ve ever had a bad experience with Aarons.

Management doesn’t care for locals at all. Prices are insane. Won’t hire any poor people. Stay away.

Before I signed an agreement or received the items I was interested in renting to own. I received phone calls from them (employees of the store) saying I owed them money, aggressively asking “when am I going to make a payment”, and I was “behind on my payment”, plus someone came to my home and put a note on my door asking me to contact them. This is very unprofessional, disrespectful, unwarranted, and it lets me know that I should not deal with these people since they’re not able to keep their orders accurate and be aware of the payment times. The harassment is ridiculous and obviously insulting. In addition, they did not have the specific items advertised as “specials” posted online, and suggested other items for higher prices. And even thou, I rented and paid off over a year in advance several more items from another Aaron’s than I requested from this store they didn’t want to consider my good standing with the other store and refused to allow me to rent the maximum $550 a month rent limit I was eligible to receive. I do not recommend the Aaron’s in Greenville, Texas in any way, shape, or form.

To be fair and remedy these issues and prevent them from happening again, every person at this location needs to be fired. I read other reviews about this store and I can tell this is not the first time customers have been mistreated. I don’t understand how any business can expect to make a profit, and get repeat customers with mistreatment like I experienced. This should’ve never happened. The Manager (s) need to be fired and anyone else involved, including anyone who stood by and let things like this happen.
I don’t know what you can say or do to fix this problem.

This has got to be the worst place that I have ever done any buisness with for furniture all though I use to love Aarons this one was the worst one. These people just show up at your door to pick up your furniture for no reason. They don't allow you to be one day late and even though you talk to them 2 times day they still call you already 4 times. They lack bad communication skills n Def don't notate the account. When I finally had enough of them I told them to come pick up the furniture and guess what they still called me twice after they done had got the furniture. Lord they are not good for business!
