AB World Food Market reviews
10I went to pick up some noodles for dinner tonight, and the gentleman rang me up. As he rang me up, an Indian man and his daughter just stepped in front of me and asked the man about an item while he’s in the middle of handling my transaction. I didn’t say anything, and the cashier told him the price and was going to cancel my transaction to allow this man to pay. I said I’m right here and you were in the middle of my transaction, so then he said oh OK I’m sorry that’s not what we were going to do. But the man was handing him his credit card.it’s so disrespectful. I love going to authentic markets to buy my food, but who wants to be treated like this?
I’ve never seen ground beef being sold for 6.99 per pound and then be told that it’s “special” to justify the price. Save your money and just drive the 20 min to southwest and buy your halal meat from Muslims.
It's an Asian grocery store with a take out restaurant facility. Friendly staffs especially the owner.
You get fresh dosa and coconut chutney in the mornings here. Snacks were good as well. They had kerala snacks such as chicken puffs, bonda and banana fry
Very Expensive.
Chicken curry wattery.
Kerala Moru curry 7 dollars
Snacks like samosa Expensive.
They Need to decrease the price.
Menu foods are outrageously good, great taste, good prices, always fresh.
Worth the 20 minute drive from Houston.
Lots of Indian and other Asian Grocery items available, Take out food taste yummy, Friendly staff.
I've shopped at many Indian grocery stores across the U. S.and am surprised at how expensive this store is. Paneer is $7.99, Good day biscuits are at $6.49. My overall grocery bill was around $170, which would have easily been $130 elsewhere. Besides, they sell beef but not pork. I'll perhaps start shopping in Hillcroft Rd hereafter. We had also ordered paav bhaji and Palak paneer recently. It tasted awful.
It is sad that we don't have many good Indian groceries in and around Pearland/Manvel.
Update: it’s been a year and it’s still so good
I think I come here about twice a week for their food. The butter chicken is so good
