11There golf department looks like it's been scavenged thru and no good golf stuff other than the balls! Go to ross or tj Maxx for tour golf clothes in texarkana this place has nothing good the closest real golf store is in Dallas pga Superstore or 2nd swing just be better ordering online unless you need some tees don't go here
This place is great, but saw several people drop their merchandise before purchasing because of the line. We really didn't wait long.
Had staff follow us around the store for no apparent reason other than what they profiled to be suspicious.
We went to the Academy to buy a small barbeque pit that was on sale. We ended up buying a lot of clothes, charcoal, spices, gloves the small barbeque pit and a large barbeque/oker pit as well. The prices were great.
My wife came home tonight from sports academy and was telling me about the harassment she received from the staff. She is mixed race, white/ black. She mentioned that 3 of the employees were following her around the store, signaling and head nodding at each other when to watch her and follow her down certain isles. My wife was not stealing, not causing a scene, simply shopping. This on top of the rude treatment her and our family received while they were in the store tonight. The management needs to address the issues with their employees as this has happened numerous times.
The shelves are not labeled correct. It seemed like every item I found that I needed did not have a price. The app would not scan the barcode either. I did find some nice sketchers slip-ins.
Found most of what I was looking for.couldn't find any employees to ask about what I couldn't find.
Love the items HOWEVER, can't find anyone to help in store when needed, rude or rushing when helping, took over 20mins just to get a hold of store to tell them I was outside to pick up order had to call online to have them tell store.
Friendly people, but it's hard to find salespeople to help. Usually, don't speak to any employees until you get to the register.
Justin was so helpful when I needed a new softball glove so I could practice with my daughter. Excellent customer service!
