Academy Sports + Outdoors, El Paso TX

Academy Sports is a very good store and they have a lot of specials and it's good closing is worth buying but when you go there take some money because you're going to like some

I was there picking up an item I had ordered online and this girl in front of me was applying for a credit card, got denied then her own debit/credit card kept getting denied and all the while the other registers were checking out a dozen people. Why didn't they ask us to move to another register or what we needed help with. When they opened another register our line was still there waiting so I had to go to the back of another line and wait for 4 more people to be rung up before I could pick up my item. Total wait time ~20 min.

There needs to be more employee awareness and if there are issues holding up the register have people move or close the register to deal with that customer or make the problem customer go to another register. Why weren't the people at our register picked up first to go to the newly opened register since we were waiting and others had came and left already?

It’s cool. We found the kiddie pool we were looking for! The water balloons were on special! Thank you!

There is a great selection of sporting and outdoor things. The selection of golf clubs is not that great.

Everytime I go here, they never have what I need. I've called before going and ask before even going and get told something other than the truth of what they got. Wish you luck on getting what you need from here.

We found the Jazz shoes that we were looking for, they were actually the last of the size to look for, the young people who serve helped us find them very easily in the system, to be able to go to the other store since they did not have that size in the first one.

This store is ran and staffed by the mentality deficient. I don't understand how you have so many people in there doing nothing. The staff activity avoid customers, there's no friendly conversation at the one register that's open even with how long they take to ring up your items. Someone who cares should take a closer look at this store.

I was very surprised at the amount of stuff that you must now order online because it is unavailable at store. Employees seem bored always.

Don’t go here for your guns the big guy with black hair denied me because I have a New Mexico drivers and a Texas Id like he said he wasn’t comfortable I’ll be calling corporate though no worries

Just need some damn checkers as the line was back in the isles.
