16The older gentleman behind the gun counter told me it is illegal for youth to touch the little "cricket" youth rifles? I'm still scatching my head over that one.
Store was clean, employee were helpful. However it’s difficult to find stuff here, the aisle don’t have a number and I had been looking for hammock for 15 min
I was treated pretty rudely by one guy with a beard while doing a pickup. He was very short with me and treated me like a total idiot. Fortunately, every one else was nice and tried to help out Lamar seemed like he had a good sense of customer service.
Slower checkout lines than Walmart at 11pm. Comparable checkout times to Whataburger at lunch time. I think you get the point.
Hit or miss on stores. Called about a item couldn't get anyone to answer the phone it would disconnect after while. When I finally got through was told they had the item I wanted but when I got there they were out of stock. Total waste of time.
You can shop all items you expect here. Place needs some improvements in maintaining cleanliness and ambience. But pricy, but most of them are branded, so you can expect them to be pricy.
Just popped in with my husband, not looking for anything in particular, just browsing.pretty pricey
I feel invisible when I go to the firearm department and feel like I'm "interrupting" the conversation within the employees behind the desk pretending to not see me staring at them. A little acknowledgement and or knowledgeable advice/responses would be highly appreciated.
Had great Customer Service.had several employees walk up to me to ask if I needed help or any assistance!
Ordered online and for the Fathers Day special I got free assembly. Then they brought it to my car and loaded it for me!
Awesome service and friendly employees.
Everything about Academy Sports is predicable and good except, they really need to change how they manage checkout.
I will not return.
I realize it is about profit and overhead. But seriously, one person checking with ten people in line?
Great selection of clothes to choose from but almost every piece of clothing I grabbed I noticed the size on the hanger didn't match its actual size. Sometimes it was way off and other times it was a medium instead of a large for example. Kind of frustrating. I also wasn't super happy with the size options but there were still some larger sizes to pick from. The dressings rooms were very messy as well.
Hello, do not buy hunting licenses in this store in Denton and if you do, make sure that it is a bald lisensia or that it is good for hunting, otherwise they will only steal your money as they did to me because they blessed me with a license that does not allow anyone to marry animal. What they gave me for lisensia is useless, they just stole my money
If your looking for accessories for sports or outdoor stuff this is a good place. It has a good selection for whatever outdoor activity you may be into.
Hard to navigate the buggies are too big for the aisles and the organization of the clothing areas is not clearly marked spent more time there than needed.
Hard to find things at this academy. Shoes are all mixed up with sizes and brands. Liberally had to dig and empty shelves for 45 mins to find the right cleats for my daughter. Ammo selection was great though.
