Academy Sports + Outdoors, San Antonio TX

First time there since I'm from Chicago and we don't have that there they have everything you pretty much need I liked it but it's my opinion

This store needs to give their employees better training. On two occasions I have seen an employee named Dimas scoldoring a young female employee in front of customers. When asked who said person was I was informed he is the store director. I believe Academy needs to give them better manager training and teach them how to speak to their employees in a correct manor not talk down to them making employee feel like they are unworthy. Do A Better Job Academy, customers are there for a pleasant shopping experience not to view how management over step their position.

Masks weren't required, which was great. They didn't have the boot size I was looking for, and were limited on guns to look at. Overall, it was ok.

Best experience at a sports store Rose was very nice and knew how to treat a costumer plus while I was shopping I noticed other employees constantly asking costumers if they need it help finding anything that's how you make people to come back and do business with you great job academy on 410 perrinbeitel Rose is the best cashier ever! And the lady at the fitting room as well

Manager and cashier told me I didn't have money on my gift card so I paid full price. Checked online and it shows a balance and went to a different academy and used it.

Good experiance no complains wrkers were able 2 help me I was in need of sum items n dey were very helpful dey went out of der way 2 help me thank u ACADEMY 4 having such great emplyees wish all stores were like u all u go 2 Walmart n it seems like der employees r hiding fr u can't find any1 2 help u just glad u r NOT like dat THANKS again

At checkout, my husband asked for a veteran's discount as noted on the internet. The clerk said it was a promotion that ended on July 8th. My husband said, "But I'm a veteran everyday of my life. " Academy would do well to offer veteran's discounts in a way that they can all enjoy a little help from this big company store.

Very rude employees, when I asked questions nobody had any knowledge of the lay out their own store. I ended up walking out

I like this location except I couldnt find what I wanted.they completely sold out of mesh backpacks right before school started

Easy to see from the highway, but a slight pain to get to if you miss the first entrance. Plenty of deals going on and a well trained and friendly staff. Just wish they carried more size 13 shoes in men's.

I bought a pair of fila tennis shoes 7/30/18 at approximately 1: 30 cashier didn't know an item I was asking for then she was giving me my tennis without a bag I had to ask for a bag very unfriendly.

This this where I go, for my CO2 refills. Same old guy that takes care of me each time. Good service Everytime

90% of the stuff that I own is from the store I love it so much especially because I'm such an outdoorsy person and the service is awesome people help you find everything you need and they sell school uniforms new school shoes they have school Deals they have everything you need

Standard Academy! I give the employees credit for dealing with some terribly bad customers. I have never seen such inconsiderate customers dropping clothing on the floor and leaving such a mess screaming children etc. I could tell the staff could barely keep up. Memorial day weekend in Brownsville TX!

Called for a certain handgun and the guy who answered was rude and didn't even seem like he wanted to help. If he doesn't like his job then he shouldn't be working they're.

Great prices and a clean environment. It's really close to my apartment and has everything I need for fun activities

The young man that helped me was great but when we got to the register the price was not the same as the price at the 35 north schertz store and I told her that and she would not even respond back to me and I was there at the other store this morning and I asked about the price and it wad on display the reason I did not buy it then was I took pictures to show my wife before I bought it

Great place great service awesome prices on the clothing and honestly I just couldn't ask for more it was awesome.
