Very helpful, respectful staff. The counter staff even laugh along with your jokes! You can tell they actually enjoy working here

Shopping was a pleasure. The two store associates that I spoke with were awesome. They helped me with great attitudes and knowledge of products. Checking out was pleasant. Looking forward to my next visit at Academy.

Academy is always clean. Most of the time I can find what I am looking for. They have a nice selection of fishing gear. As well as guns.

This was a rare visit for me but the was stocked ok but the guy who checked me out wasn't friendly at all, he appeared to be more concerned about his paper work than being custom friendly. The one in Beaumont is better stocked and much more friendlier in my opinion

Decent store but they don't have a large boys section. They have youth for like ages 10+ but not a lot of clothes for under 10.

Academy has just about anything needed for any sports there is, great selection of shoes also. When hunting season comes around get your license and gear to hunt.

Isles are packed with boxes, entire store is clutter. Boxes just sitting not cleaned up, looks like they quit in middle and left. Cant get through store with a cart. Ugh

Usually they have what I am looking for but if you need help you will probably have to go to the front and ask that they send someone to that area

They were great helping me find the trampoline I wanted and getting it into my car. I'd rate 5 star if there was more than 2 check out lanes open.

They had what I wanted, and I was in and out with no hassle. Four stars because only one check out lane was open, which slowed us down by 10 or 20 minutes.

I walked the entire store to find one item and still wasn't able to find it. Until I went to the front register and asked for assistance! I purchased what I went for and it broke the same exact day! It definitely wasn't worth the price! Too expensive for cheap products! Very dissatisfied.

Didn't find what I wanted. I did however find a few things for future purchases. My complaint about Academy is apparently they think no one wears clothing above XXL. If it's clothing for the larger size folks like me go elsewhere.

I had two very helpful associates in the fishing department today. Very positive experience. They helped me find the items I was looking for and took the time to show me other items of interest that I wished to see.

I was going for a 20" bike for my granddaughter, something simple, but the great assistant there helped me so much with features I just had to get the high tech version! Gonna be one happy girl for her birthday! She loves to ride her bicycle, now she looks like the big kids! Yay

Love the store. Shoe department used to have better customer service. New employees are standing around in the shoe department talking with each other and looking on their phones.

Place is decent enough I guess but they never have the ammo, magazines, AR accessories or anything firearms related I'm looking for. Plus, guys around gun section have zero idea of anything you're talking about.

Not a great place to get shoes anymore.unless you wear a size 14.also they didn't have the scope I was wanting in stock and can't order it either.so ooo I guess the brick and mortar are trying not to compete with Amazon. I was trying to spend some money here locally.very disappointing to stay the least.

The one in Port Arthur Tx is ok, it might have what your looking for, but the one in Beaumont TX is a hole lot better and it is bigger

This Academy is considerably smaller than the one in Beaumont. If usually has a fair selection of products but I have had to drive to Beaumont on several occasions to get specific items the Port Arthur school or does not carry

I love too get my tennis shoes from here. Always great style and prices, and many to choose from! Plus other items!
