Academy Sports + Outdoors, Pharr TX

People with narrow feet shoes its perfect but since I'm a wide foot my selection is little and not very stylish. I would have better luck finding something with style at Wal-Mart than academy. Sad to say but got to step up your shoe game academy.

Some employees act rude and bothered. Theyre always out of stock on alot of essentials. Ive placed online orders that end up getting refunded alot because they dont have the item, they should update their database systems to show no stock online if theres none for pickup at store.

You have 9 cashier lanes in total. But
always you have only one.
Means long lines to pay for your merchandise.

Got what I needed. I had to go pretty far to find an employee to ask where these things were. That's no different than any other large door these days.

This place has a little bit of every from pool sticks to working boots, weight lifting gear, sportswear, Etc. You can also test out the equipment if you like. It pretty pricey overall great store.

No adult size jackets is cheap so my parents never let me buy to things because everything to overpriced

Was abel to compare prices to online and some items same due to clearance pricing compared to online. Have always been able to find good prices here and especially on handguns also fairly priced.

Great place to shop, had been shopping around for a few new appliances and Lowes had better selection and great prices

Went in to buy boots, they were a little cracked and David the manager took care of the problem, he polished them and took the time to look for other boots and suggested other items like oil, great customer service and made sure I was happy. Thanks David!

Need to fix their motorized cart and they only have one and isles need to b wider in between cloths so wheelchairs can manuver better.

Not nearly the selection of products I was expecting, and the checkout process was awfully slow. It wasn't until there were nearly a dozen people in one line that they opened another register.

No help on any department eventough. I asked them many times. When i went to apparel i asked for help finding some underarmour polo shirts the girl helping me said they had some in weslaco and i asked if under armour and she said bcbg and i said those are here i need under amour said thank you and just left i dont know. If they dont have good training but worst customer service even at register

I'm more and more disappointed with this place. They were upset I was going to take a pic of a firearm. I was trying to show my wife what I wanted for my birthday

This store har just about anything u need for the outdoors and the prices are great, not over priced at all like other places
