Acorn Pediatrics reviews
8Dr Storandt has been our pedestrian for 14 years now! We can’t say enough positives about her. She’s a great listener and smart.
Dr Bourland always takes her time to answer any of my questions or concerns. I was able to get in quickly for a sick visit when needed as well.
They were able to see my daughter same day for an emergency. Front desk was super friendly, Dr. Storandt is absolutely amazing! She really took her time with my little one. The office was very clean and well kept. I showed up 40 min early to our appt but they saw us right away. Exam rooms are themed and were super adorable, our room had a kitchenette and play table. It was able to bring my little one some joy and distract her from the painful ear problem she was having. Never going anywhere else:)
They are amazing! I love Dr. Reynard and all of the staff. They remember my daughter by name which is so personal. I'm not used to that at a doctors office. Dr. Reynard is extremely attentive and I always feel comfortable after my daughter's exams. They are also a small practice which is nice and usually I am seen within 10-15 minutes and I feel like they care about my daughter's progression. I would recommend them to anyone
I've been using Acorn since my daughter was born almost 7 months ago. Dr Reynard is FANTASTIC. She's super friendly and very helpful for me as a new mom. I've never waited to be seen more than 10-15 minutes. I love this pediatric center.
Terrible! We had an appointment for shot of second round of antibiotics and when we showed up we were told that they ran out of the medication last week and wont order more because the reimbursement is not good enough. This is not the first time they ran out of medication and they still let us take off of work and waste our time.
Didn't communicate as to why I was left waiting for 90 minutes without being seen despite repeated approaches to the front desk.
Although they have cute games for kids, the staff (including doctors) are either unfriendly or rude. I waited around 15 to 40 minutes every time I had an appointment and the staff never apologized once. They also claim they allow you to be on a delayed immunization schedule, but when I wasn't ready to give my child the next shot, they said they would not see her again until she had a shot. Note that I called for a sick visit because my child was had a sinus infection and needed to be seen that day. I thought children aren't supposed to get shots when sick! So, the doctors left me with a sick kid and no doctor. Thanks SO much! Our insurance doesn't cover Urgent Care or ER visits, so I had to pay over $200 to get medicine for a simple sinus infection. Also, Dr. Bourland is not supportive of breastfeeding or the "No cry sleep solution". She constantly gave my unwanted advice and basically told me I was a bad mom when I did anything different than how she parented her kids. I kept going back because of their location, but would encourage you to meet other doctors before using these two. Dr. Reynard does support breastfeeding.
