Addison Group reviews
4Worked with this agency since around October. The manager at the company I worked for had an issue with me and went out her way to end the contract. A group of guys from Addison showed up there, who I have never met before my last day. I was provided the contact number for the rep there who said he was in HR, Adriel, and told to reach out for more opportunities. I have not received a response since then after reaching out multiple times to try to find other employment, nor was I even asked to give a statement or anything to them. Totally unprofessional company. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere if in the job market. They will string you along (see other reviews) and do not keep their word on important matters. These guys just want their money and do not care about you as person tbh. Beware
I've had the privilege of being a part of Addison for the past 24 years and I can confidently say that our Austin office exemplifies the values and dedication that have defined our company. The team's commitment to excellence is truly commendable and it’s a pleasure to work and collaborate in this environment where everyone wants to see each other succeed. Proud to be associated with this driven team!
Be very cautious of The Addison Group.
I was contacted by Manda Barnhart for an accounting role that she felt fit my resume very well. I made it through to the fifth round of interviews an hour each. In the meantime, I received a job offer from two other companies that needed answers by Friday but her role was my first choice and relayed that to her. She called me and told me she would have the offer letter by Wednesday and I was the top candidate. Friday rolled around and at 6pm (other companies waiting on me) I received a call from her client asking randomly if I wanted job advancement opportunities in the future (they already asked me this in the interviews). I said yes and based on that random question alone they said they couldn't hire me at 6pm on Friday because they couldn't offer any job advancement in the future. Manda asked me to call her back with what her clients called me about (Showing she didn't know what the client even called me about). I tried to call her cell and office number with no response or answer. I was totally dropped. I know there's always risk to not getting hired-That's no issue. However my issue is, why was this such an intense process and complete waste of time? Tons of group interviews, promise of an offer letter from her and her client, then last minute call outside of business hours to reask an already answered question to then deny my application that THEY contacted ME for? No thanks. It's likely a blessing to have this experience in the end.
Great staff and job opportunities! It has been my experience their staff truly care about your success with the clients they place you with. It's not just about the money, they desire to help you find a good job that fits your wants and needs. Give Kylie McCartney a call at the Austin location. Kylie will point you in the right direction.
