Advanced Water Gardens, Royse City TX

My husband and I visited in September. Jody is a wonderful tour guide, friendly, informative, enthusiastic. Jody clearly has a passion for this. He and his wife, Delila, work together to maintain the farm and have a hundred plus varieties of water lilies, fish, water plants, and animals, just to name a few things. This is a business with a heart, Advanced Water Gardens.

Such a fantastic place for aquatic plants. Jody could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be back!

What an incredible surprise and amazing selection of water plants! Jody gave us a tour of the property. The prices are very reasonable. They have a great selection of fountains and water containers too. I’m ecstatic over the beautiful tropical lily we got and will be back for lotus. There were too many gorgeous ones to chose from!

Jody and his wife came and did a much needed cleaning of our koi pond today and did a fantastic job at that! They not only cleaned everything but added some plants and gave me some tips in keeping things up. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

I recently made the drive out to Advanced Water Gardens. The owner Jody is a pond expert and he's ready and willing to explain everything you may want to know. I found the selection and prices to be well worth the drive from Fort Worth and will certainly visit again. In fact, just the knowledge I gained would have made the drive worth it! If you have a pond of any size, I can't recommend Advanced Water Gardens enough.

We visited today because we won a water lily from the North Texas Water Garden Tours contest this year. Jody was amazing - he had such a HUGE selection of water lilies and pond plants it was hard to choose! He was great - walking us through and telling us about the plants and how to care for them and just visiting and being a great "host". We ended up with our free lily and one that we purchased and a huge pot that we bought from him. We will DEFINITELY go back soon. It was just a fun experience - and I love that he has chickens running loose to control the bugs instead of using pesticide. It was a treat to see all the chickens. He plans to have koi in the near future - so we are excited about that too. Just an overall great experience with a very pleasant man. Highly recommend this place!
