AdventHealth Central Texas ER, Killeen TX

They have to be sooo understaffed. We waited two hours for a room and never got one my son had a really bad fall. We ended up leaving. More than likely won’t be back.

I wish it wouldn’t have take so long to get into an actual room. The staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The doctors showed care and compassion for my son.

I came in as a fall. As I was walking on my crutches this nurse was coming out. She asked if I needed a wheelchair, and replied in the affirmative. She returned and wheeled to the desk. She ensured I was taken care of with promptness. I was in tremendous pain and she was understanding and genuine concern. The nurse I'm referring to is Ms. Veleray Mitchell. She was excellent in getting me to the ER. My PA Phil was awesome and this was the second time I've had him. I'm always treated with respect, and professionalism.

There for 6 hours, which I get, it's an ER. At the end of my stay the doctor was going to remove and re-wrap my compression bandage, then told a nurse to do it. No one did. They came to discharge me, no mention of it. By that time I just wanted to go home. Left and was just careful until I was able to see my PCP.

Ppl in the E. R.were very professional with exception of one nurse who was rude, the staff in the hospital were very helpful and pleasant to be around nice and is a Big change in character and work dynamic, it is a pleasant visit as I'm still here, thanks a lot hospital and staff, great job and best of luck to you in the changes you are doing.

Fantastic treatment! Beginning with the check in, then the triage, and finally the Dr. Everyone was super friendly and compassionate to my needs, they treated me quickly and I was out the door in no time! Thank you to ALL of the people I interacted with.y'all were amazing!

All I will share is you do not have the right to be called a hospital. Next time I need a medical emergency I would rather stay at home and wait for death. The worst scam I've been in 34 years.

Everyone was so nice and it went by fast. Fastest service from an ER I have EVER experienced. Thank you so much AdventHealth. Y'all ROCK!

Worst hospital I ever been to been here since 9 p.m. And still haven't been seeing and it's 2: 31 a.m. In the morning. And they tell me the people in the ambulance get seen first from the people that been here for the longest which is crazy if you ask me. A two-year-old bleeding at the mouth have to wait all these hours just to be seen by a doctor to get his stitches put in crazy!

If I could give a zero I would. But the nurses were the only ones that actually cared. The doctors said they cared but their bedside manner was terrible. The social workers were the only one that cared for me genuinely. But the stay overall was terrible.

The nurse I had was an absolute joy and very attentive to my every need. Despite it being busy I was able to get professional help swiftly and accurately with very informative answers to my every question. No one likes a trip to the ER, but the staff made it as bearable as possible for me after my seizure.

It was a terrible experience i was having chest pains, and a terrible cough. I sat in the waiting room 6hrs to still never be seen and to be told it would be another 4 hrs before i was seen.ill just wait and die before I return to this place.

They gave me more care than Seton at least they actually gave me antibiotics. Seton was content with letting the infection spread. The doctor at Seton literally asked what do I want him to do.ughhh your job would be a great place to start. So thanks Advent

Staff was great, wait was so long! I have a broken back, brought my MRI with me due to people coming in for drugs the ones of us that need medication are treated like we are just looking for a “high” instead of much needed help!

It was okay, came to the hospital around 10: 30pm for high blood pressure, came out 4: 15 am with everything’s normal (heart and chest X-ray) Thank God!

Satisfied with my care from the receptionist, Triage Nurse, to Dr. James. Then treated by the Dr's assistant, and released. Perfectly diagnosed, and feeling my better.

The wait was horribly long and I needed a pre authorization prior to me getting the cough medicine for my daughter's cough twice so I just paid out of pocket expenses but overall staff was very curtious and very knowledgeable and did find out that my daughter had strep and an ear infection

My primary doctor sent me to the emergency room to be seen. Waiting for an exam room was way too long. When I arrived I was the only one in the lobby waiting to be seen. As the waiting area filled up there were people who came in after me that were called back to be seen.
I was in a lot of pain to be waiting that long to be seen.

The ER staff doesn't listen, they literally act like they don't care. I don't know how they are still in business. If you have an emergency or your just real sick don't go here

I've gone to Advent often. This last time was the worst. My nurse literally had the personality of a gnat. No smile. No talking. No nothing. I saw the dr 1 time in 4hrs. She was rude and quick. It felt like I was put in a room and forgotten about. I chose Advent. I could of gone elsewhere. I'll definitely think twice if I ever need a hospital again.
