I got there at 12: 54 pm, my appt was at 1: 20 & my husband & I watched everyone who came “after” & I mean everyone.they were called by a nurse & we watched a few leave the clinic. We got called @ 1: 35.we were getting ready to let them know we have not been called. The nurse never apologized from the time I was called, not did she tell us if the doctor was running late or anything. I understand when you’re 10- minutes late they will either see if you can be seen or just reschedule you. This is not the first time it’s happened. So what can you do when you come really early & get seen really late making you later returning to work and now your child is missing more classes because they put you 1-2hds. Behind time? They’re quick to cut your appt when your 10 -20 min. Late even if you call ahead of time because there’s an accident or inexpected long train (30-40min). Help the customers.
And then when she took my blood pressure it didn’t work the first time & she let it start again that is fine BUT when it squeezed my hand soo tight (never have never experienced this tightness before) my vain in my fingers started to pop out & I said it doesn’t feel right, she just stood there & did not care about the uncomfortableness I was telling her. I started to shake my hand (the cuff was on) usually the nurse tells you to be still (she said nada) so I knew something wasn’t right & I thought about ripping it off because my hand started to feel slight numb.she let it continue on it was over a few seconds later & I couldn’t believe she took that reading- that is not a good reading—any nurse would’ve known that even an “intern”-she should’ve checked if the “wrong cuff was on or undo the Cuff & start again. And I made a mistake by not getting my BP checked by my provider. No she is a seasoned nurse not an “intern”- she may have had a bad day or something else but you still take care of the customer. I forgot to write her name down & fill out the card because I have given excellent feedbacks before from other medical clinics/hospitals & businesses because I believe in good customer service. That face is not forgotten. I hope whoever sees this (med staff because a few are look like they’re not happy) really pay attention to their customers that’s what we are customers, not just a bunch of AD/Vets and their dependents, we are customers. Have a great day.
