When I came to see Dr. Nelson I was in a wheelchair and had not been able to walk except with help for the past year. I had severe brain fog and fatigue. I suffered with dizziness and light headedness almost every day. I could not feel my legs from the waist down and I had limited feeling in my shoulders and arms. I also had pain off and on in my legs, neck, and lower back. I was extremely depressed and had given up on ever having a normal life.
It’s been about 2 months since my first visit and I’ve seen tons of improvements. After my first visit I was able to confidently walk without help for the first time in 6 years. I could finally feel my legs and feet and all of it for the first time in 6 years. It was amazing. After just a few more visits I was gaining my brain function back and finding myself not being dizzy or lightheaded at all. I still struggle with fatigue but not nearly to the degree it was before. I would wake up to eat meals but otherwise so fatigued that I slept all day everyday and after just a few visits I was able to stay awake and take a 1 hour nap just once or twice a day and feel great the rest of the day. I love reading but with my brain fog I had stopped because it became very tiresome. This past week I just finished a book with 46 chapters and started on the second book.
Now I look forward to the future and actually enjoy life again. I am so blessed that God brought Dr. Nelson into my life and I can’t thank Dr. Nelson enough for everything he has done for me! He helped me physically but also mentally. He talks with you during your appointment and try’s to understand about your lifestyle to see how to best help you and then also gives advice for a healthy lifestyle. Right now he is working with me on eating better and finding out what foods are best for my body. He is so much more than just a chiropractor. This visit was amazing! I went in with pain in both my thumbs and lower back pain I had for a while but left pain free!

After years of back and hip pain causing a severe limp and required a cane to walk anything more than 100 yards I went to DR Nelson. Within 2 sessions my limp was gone and my pain levels drastically dropped. My few sessions with DR Nelson were life changing for the better

I rarely do reviews, but this one is well deserved and long overdue. Dr Christian Nelson is highly professional and very knowledgeable. He is compassionate about his work and deeply cares about the well being of his patients. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. I had a stroke Dec 2014 which affected my whole right side. I lost the ability to walk and the use of my right arm. Went thru rehab about 2 years and learned how to walk with a limp but really couldn’t use my arm much. I managed to do okay for about 5 1/2 yrs, then started going downhill. I was a wreck by the time I started going to Dr Nelson. I ached just walking short distances. I started PT again, but was having a hard time because my body just hurt all over. I have been going to Dr Nelson for a little over a year now. I am able to walk better and I have better use of my arm. I’m not 100% yet, but I would say I’m 75 to 85% better. I have good days and bad days but I am able to do my PT and getting stronger everyday. I will continue to see Dr Nelson because he’s awesome! Best chiropractor I’ve ever been to!

Started going to Advocate Wellness due to several issues, such as knee and chronic lower back pain. After 3 months of going, I am no longer scared of running due to severe knee pain. Dr. Nelson has made a huge difference in my quality of life. I was so used to having migraines 1-2 times a week and was resigned that that would be my life. My mother and grandmother both have chronic migraines. I have only had a handful of corrections and haven't had a migraine in 2 weeks. I have so much more energy at the end of my very long days. I started coming two months ago with a big concern over my elbow mobility and acute pain as I’m an active rock climber and lift weights. I’ve had this elbow problem since 2018 but didn’t address it until visiting Advocate Wellness. I initially thought I had to get surgery for calcific tendinitis or take medications for the acute elbow pain. Even though I was skeptical at first, Advocate Wellness has almost entirely reversed my elbow pain and almost fully restored full elbow extension and rotation. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I just recently finished a full 5 hour rock climbing session immediately after a session of weighted calisthenics with no elbow pain just to push my limits and really test the treatment. Thankfully, I had no pain so this is a testament to the quality of this clinic. I especially appreciate the personalized attention they give to your particular problem. 10/10 would come again for future problems.

I had torn my acl and meniscus, before surgery I was goin in a couple days a week and I feel so much better post surgery than a lot of people do. Because I was treating the knee well before surgery. And dr Nelson always makes sure that u are comfortable and leave feeling healthy

We started our adventure with Dr Nelson in July. After my husband suffered a massive stroke, he was experiencing neck and shoulder pain that no Dr or therapist had an explanation. After a referral, we discovered the wonders of myofascial therapy. After 3 months, the pain gradually lessened. There was a lot of anxiety issues muddying the waters, but Dr Nelson kept an even command of the situation. He is virtually pain free at this time.
Then I developed knee issues. Ultimately, l needed knee replacements, but………. Dr Nelson keep the inflammation in check and I have been able to manage the situation until the procedure is done. I was at a point that I couldn’t put pressure on the knees without having severe pain.
I plan on seeing him after the surgery, to control the inflammation which will result in a quicker recovery
