Affinity Eye Care, McKinney TX

The staff and Dr. Quach are friendly and nice. The reason for 3 rating is they won't talk through the results of the extra tests that you pay outside of insurance. All I got to hear was everything looks good. I was not sure if the doctor even took a look at the images clicked by his assistant or not. I would expect to hear more about screening test being done and the result when I pay extra for it.

The instruments are placed near the lobby and they can't control the light settings for the instrument thats clicking picture of your eyes. They would use a paper/folder to cover over while its clicking.

Very friendly and accommodating. Had to reschedule a couple of times but they were able to get us in to see the Dr pretty quickly. Very thorough and professional would recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Quach for 20 years. That ended today because of incompetent staff. I made an appointment over two weeks ago and really needed to get in because there is damage to one of my lenses. I need new glasses. But I couldn’t get in right away so I made the appointment for today. The girl on the phone looked up my insurance and even confirmed that I have two plans.so I get there today, and the girl at the front desk says there’s no record of my appointment. The other woman there asked if I have a reminder on my phone and she wants to look at it. Then she asked if it was a reminder for me or someone else. Are you kidding me? They said they would work me in, but no, thank you. After waiting two weeks to get in, I should’ve been able to see the doctor right away. This is inexcusable. So, after all these years, I am looking for another eye doctor. The fact that they acted like it was my problem, like, somehow, I didn’t know what I was talking about, was insulting. I am never going back there again

The front desk staff and the doctor are truly wonderful. I have had only positive experiences and I am extremely thankful for their service. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I saw Dr. Wong today and she is fabulous. She was very accommodating and explained everything thoroughly. So friendly and kind!

I have been seeing Dr Judy Wong for more than 10 years and she take care of her patients really well.

These people are the best. My wife and I have been going to Affinity for years. Other local eye doctors we have been to, refuse to give us the prescription for our glasses. They give you the prescription without you having to ask. I have been using my glasses I got from Affinity and they are really good. The best pair of glasses I have ever owned, I got from Affinity about 10 years ago.

Dr. Quach is the best when it comes to eye care and concern for the patient. He takes his time and goes beyond normal eye exams to insure the patient is getting the right treatment for their eyes. I highly recommend him and the staff at Affinity Eye Care for your next eye exam and glasses.

You may not know it, but Dr Q is a therapeutic optometrist which requires a lot more training than others. His exam includes a close inspection of the interior of the eye itself for any problems. That is why i have been going to him for ten years.

Dr. Wong is great! My daughter worked for her years ago. She is just as caring and professional as ever. She takes her time and is very thorough. Explained the tests she was doing and being a senior
I appreciated that. Will continue to see her every year from now on.

Excellent service. The Doc spent a lot if time explaining and understanding my concerns. Prescription from my previous doc was not accurate. He was able to identify and fix the issue. The physicians assistant was also very knowledgeable. I recommend this place for a precise evaluation.

Would be a 5 star if not for the lady that deals with benefits and selling glasses, contacts etc.
Dr is excellent and very attentive and overall staff is nice BUT the lady responsible for selling glasses and going over benefits is a high pressure salesman. She cites across as if her pay is incentive based on sales. That’s the only unpleasant part of the visit.
