Never been to San Saba before but we stopped for lunch and it was great. Food, prices, atmosphere were amazing.

Went for breakfast, it was good. The staff were friendly and quick. Parking is a little cramped.

My wife and I stopped in by chance on our way to Arizona, Absolutely delicious! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating 10/10 will be back for more!

Ate here 2 years ago when we came to San Saba for the first time on our "COVID-cation" end after getting lunch here one time we ordered breakfast another time and dinner another time. Everything was solid. Ordered takeout yesterday for dinner. The pechuga is great. Sour cream chicken enchiladas are as well. Jalapeno salsa and regular red salsa are both great. You can get both in 8,16, or 32 oz allocations. They take credit card, and every time we ordered 2021 and now in 2023 I was taking them less than 10 minutes to get everything together. Fast, efficient, and they even have a pull-up window if it's too hot to get out of the car. Very good Mexican food!

Place has gone down hill. Pricey menu and 1/2 good 1/2 just edible. This makes 3rd time in a roll I haven’t been happy with food bill is rarely under $65 for 2 adults and 2 beverage of Michelda. This is breakfast all but once. Menudo was okay. Breakfast plate was okay but had to pay extra for beans and for chips and salsa. Lastly was the whole cooked dish which lacked any flavor whatsoever. Took them from a 4 star down to 2.

Food was excellent. I got the chilaquiles and they’re the best I ever had. Service was good. Only bad thing is that they sat us at the first booth when you walk in and the blinds were up…you could see two square sticky fly traps on the window with a bunch of flies stuck to it. We got up and found another booth.

Never going back to this place the service was bad the waiter never came to check on us and then he got mad when we called him over to get service. Three times this has happened but no more. People should be taught how to wait on people instead of trying to wash dishes or sitting down and not tending to the customers.

Now the wait staff was great as was the atmosphere but the food was cold and it wasnt busy with a whole of ppl in the restaurant but it was just kinda warm but other than that it tasted good but just wish the food had been hot.

Good breakfast. Friendly service. Place looks clean. We came from Houston, were camping at Colorado Bend state park 30 min away. Will eat there again.
