Great coffee shop. I use to come here all the time. Very cozy and chill spot to get work done, study or chat with friends.

Overview:
One of my favorite coffee shops in Houston. The coffee is good but I've had better. The main reason why I give this 5 stars is for the actual coffee shop itself. It has a nice wooden, cozy interior. Plenty of seating inside, outside, and upstairs but the place does get packed. I've had many good memories here with my friends and gf. I used to come here a lot to do get some work done. I usually get the white mocha or opt for some green tea.

Kicking people out during dangerous weather. They closed early due to a lack of customers. It was 1 am, they usually stay open until 2. There is a tornado warning as well as a flash flood warning. I asked the barista if she was aware that it is flooding in some parts of Houston. In a hostile tone she replied, "That is why we are closing early. " She then told one of the owners who then approached me as I was trying to exit. Aggressively and visibly angry, he said "My friend, I am going stay open for only 1 customer? " Although I was not the only customer there, I tried to explain to him that it is irresponsible to not only close early, but to force people to leave during such weather. His actions clearly show that he only cares about money and has zero respect for customers or their well-being. Also saw a rat running around the tables as I left.

Great place for studying all afternoon. Free Wifi, good coffee, beer, & gluten free bakery options. Mostly quiet and tons of seating.

Have been around this area before but hadn't noticed this place, but glad we stopped by today. Atmosphere is really cool- cozy feel with deco with a theme that fits the place's name. We tried drip coffee and an ice latte; the drinks tasted good. Staffers were friendly. Parking was a little challenging early afternoon on a Saturday but we were able to park in the street nearby. Would love to come back again and spend more time here when the weather is nice and we could enjoy outdoor seating as well as the inside (it was raining today).

I liked it a lot. Very Greek. Many of the staff folks speak Greek and appear to be from Greece. That said I had no difficulty ordering in English. I asked for something that wasn't on the menu (a cold mocha) and got it ASAP. Fun place.

I haven't been in several years and the quality has definitely declined. The coffee was terrible, worst drip coffee I've ever had and the chai tea latte wasn't anything to write home about. Chairs were very uncomfortable and AC was limited.

Very few wall plugs and only small spaces to sit. Tables are too low for the chairs. They definitely don't want you to over stay your welcome.

Never enough seating and those steep stairs are a death trap. OK coffees and they serve wine as well, so I can see the allure.

Parking can be done around the streets, the stairs are really steep. There are seats on the patio upper floors and lower floors with areas to plug your computer in. I wouldn't say it's totally ideal for studying because the WiFi is kind of slow during peak hours. Just make sure you have your materials downloaded before you study.

This place is so cozy! I enjoyed the coffee and I like the fact that they have alcohol too. Gotta say, I'm not a huge fan of the Montros scene but this place took the cake. The atmosphere was worth the pain of parking.

Love this place. Great coffee, tea and wine selection. The food here is great too. My favorite part would be the coffee and atmosphere.

I love this place. So much so that I have modeled my home to reflect the relaxing and inviting atmosphere found here.

I see other reviews describing the coffee as not great. Have to disagree, in my book it's great coffee. Be aware it's not a restaurant, though they do serve pretty good pastries. Jukebox with eclectic selection programmed to the owners' taste. Patsy Cline, Nina Simone, Pink Floyd, Sinatra, Roy Orbison, Greek music.

As expected in the Montrose neighborhood, parking is limited. This is a 2 story coffee shop that has a wide array of drinks- coffees, teas, smoothies, waters, wines, etc. I like the sweet treats especially: brownies, cookies, muffins, etc. I only come in the evenings and there is usually lots of seats available. I prefer upstairs as there is less traffic, but there is patio available also. Relaxed, comfortable ambiance with a diverse crowd.

Well-decorated and dim-lit, Agora offers a cozy space to study, catch up with an old friend, or grab a caffeine boost.

The outside features a couple of large tables for groups, while the rest of the locale is better enjoyed with groups of 3 or less.

Theit Swiss and ham crossaint is pretty filling and well-prepared.

Went on a Sunday afternoon here - greek themed coffee place, cozy, and buzzing with young people with groups of friends, on dates, or simply working on their laptops. The coffee was good and baklava was rather sweet for my taste but was still nice.

Great coffee and wide selection of other great options if coffee isn't your thing. Atmosphere is what sells it though, really cool building and good outside patio

Love this coffee shop, I get the white mocha. It has a lot of space to sit and work, they have free wifi and ample space to sit outside. Parking can be a problem since they only have limited spots and you have to look for street parking.
