The waiter is so nice and went above and beyond to make our day special. The food was delicious, even my kids approved of all the sushi. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Today I had my lunch at this restaurant. It was our favorite restaurant to this day.

They took a while to come to the table to place our order. The waitress who served us was very rude from the start. My mom was ordering her drink and without saying anything she turned around and left her with the word in her mouth.

After a good moment she returned and in a haughty way she asked us about the order almost without letting us speak. When she arrived with the order, she literally "threw" our drinks and soups on the table so that we could pass them ourselves, and she did the same with the main dish, so rudely that she almost knocked over one of the plates on my mom.

Unfortunately, I wanted to speak to the manager, but there was no one at the front desk, so we paid, leaving a low tip due to the poor service and treatment.

This lady, if she can be called that, went looking for us in the parking lot and when she saw my son, she complained to him, saying that as a waitress she received a salary from the tips. My son agreed telling her that he is also a waiter and that he must give a good service, she asked him about me and unfortunately I had already left.what did that "lady" want? Force me to pay her a full tip for a bad service? Yell at me in the street? What baseness and what little education that "lady" has. If she is so sure of receiving a tip of 10,15 or 20 dollars, she should do her best in the service, just as her work is worth it, so is mine and that is why I want to invest my money in a good service, a situation that today is not happened.

Akashi was one of our favorite restaurants and we always left very good tips, today was the exception and they have lost regular customers.

I do not recommend this place to anyone who values their money and time.

Food was absolutely amazing with great presentation. The service was wonderful, they to all the stops just for our family photo. I was never really a huge fan of sushi but I simply could not get enough of this amazing food. The atmosphere while eating here was also refined and Family friendly.

Great food and atmosphere been going here since we moved here, earlier today our waitress ran out and demanded to get a bigger Tip.

We went for a dinner with friends 8pm (With a previous reservation). The waiters was super rude and hurry to make us leave because wants to close early the restaurant, they supose to close 10 pm. When we payed the waitres yell on us because her tip was 15% no 20%. Was an stressful situation. I never will come back to this place.

We had ordered takeout for the whole family and this place did not disappoint. We ordered everything from sushi to main dishes and everything came out just as we ordered. Super friendly people and a very clean restaurant when picking up order. Will definitely be back.

I've been here numerous times to try different sushi dishes. I love the sushi here. The Texas roll and Utah roll are two of my favorites so far. I have tried about 6 differnt sushi dishes so far. I plan to try more sushi in the near future.

Hands down, the best sushi I ever had. We had the Valentine roll, Art of Maki roll, orange chicken, fried rice, and crab puffs. All served promptly and fresh. This is my new sushi “go-to. ” Compliments to the chefs and staff.

My go to take out Chinese food. Love it when we need something quick to eat for movie night. I’ve tried most of the other local Chinese places and I keep coming back to this place. This place is a bit over price compared to the other places but quality of food makes up for it. Them having decent sushi is also a big plus. The sushi salmon and ahi tower are what I get everytime.

Nice restaurant. Packed. Clean. Staff is helpful too. Assured me the miso soup was vegetarian. Had no animal fat in it. The sushi also was the same. I was saying it tasted like the sushi at HEB. Nothing extraordinary. The salad was good. Had peanut sauce dressing. When I saw the bill they had charged me $2.25 for soft drinks which I had not ordered. Brought it to their attention. Seemed confused and change the bill. -_-

This place not recommend.

- food is not good (orange chicken looks like very old food) & table, plate.dirty
- serving guy is rude and not kind

Their foods r good but the restaurant is getting more dirty every time I go. It’s sticky everywhere, so I can’t even imagine how dirty inside kitchen. They need some detail cleaning all over the restaurant.

Horrible customer service; the manager was haggling with me regarding a difference of $0.50: - (and they told me that the online pricing is not updated and that I should not look at the online pricing. I got frustrated at the concept not because the price mattered. Anyways after wasting my time I gave up and just told them charge me whatever so I can take my food and go home have my dinner. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

What can I say. When I was here back in 2018 the food was so good but this time not so. I couldn't eat the refried rice it was so greasy and had a bad taste. The wonton soup was also inedible. The broth was cold, the wontons were a strange orange color and the meat inside was terrible. I can say the shrimp was good. Service was poor. I don't think I'll ever be back.

Thnx for serving at Christmas day, because everything else was closed. Miso soup was kinda weird. Philadelphia rolls were perfect, unagi tasted super off. Salmon sashimi were super small size.

This is a little gem in Katy. Went with my wife and kiddos for dinner…. Everything was done to perfection. Enjoyed sashimi and sushi…. Tempura was equally good. Great service…. A must visit place.

Very nice and large selection of Sushi rolls and other non raw foods, such as Mongolian Beef with Fried Rice. Also a very large restaurant to accommodate large crowds or families.

Unfortunately and possibly due to covid.the service has really suffered and went to @#%#%#$ at Akashi.good food yes, but terrible service. Dec. 2021

The food was pretty good.the service was nice and the staff was very friendly! I rate it 4 stars because we ordered drinks and they weren't all that great I had the lemon drop and we also got another drink that really wasn't all that great either but that did not stop us from enjoying the over all experience I would go back they have a huge variety of options on the menu!

We were in the area and drove past this place for a quick Saki and appetizer. Sat that bar and loved the backdrop that sets the vibe. We had the crab puffs and omg whatever sauce they serve with it is amazing! Would definitely go back
