Alamo Coffee Company reviews
20I had their signature coffee and while I loved the strong flavor of the coffee I realized that I should have asked to hold back on the syrup.if you enjoy your coffee with less sweetness then make sure you say so. Otherwise lovely ambience and great service
Got the tres leeches cold brew - It was sweet but seriously the best coffee I’ve ever had.
The sandwiches were pretty good and decently priced as well. Definitely coming back!
2.5 stars. I really wanted to love this place. It's in a convenient location with nice interior and vibe. The staff are also friendly. But the Asian cowboy today I ordered was unbelievable sweet. It's like 4 times sweeter than an average sweet coffee beverage from other shops.
Staff here is always friendly and the coffee is amazing! Tried the sopapilla cheesecake and it was so good!
The staff is so welcoming and friendly. After my first visit, they remembered my name and what I ordered. The food is made fresh to order. I love the avocado toast, pulled pork street tacos, and BLT sandwich. There's a great selection of beer (they also have a beer flight), wine, and cocktails. My daughter loves the hot chocolate. If you haven't tried out Alamo Coffee, you're definitely missing out.
A very nice, calm, and cute coffee shop serving a lot of options. Has sitting and standing tables, dim but not too dark lighting, and WiFi, making it a great work/study spot. Prices and taste are about what you can expect from a local shop. The service in particular was extremely kind. They also sell their own merch and coffee beans! Didn’t try any of their pastries, yet, but definitely a good regular spot for me for coffee if I was in the area, either to work or to socialize.
Great coffee shop! I got the Tres Leches Latte iced, it was very good! Coffee was strong but had a good flavor, not burnt flavor like that other coffee place everyone else goes to. Double Chocolate Chip muffin a little dry, but good flavor. Would definitely return.
Ordered a tres leche latte. The employee informed me that they can make it less sweet if needed. I was very appreciative as 1/2 the sweetness is just right for me for that drink. Thank y'all for the coffee.
Staff was very friendly. Plenty of seating inside and out. Good selection of coffee options and beer.
Very nice place to relax with friends. Great drink selection. Like the unique drink options they have in addition to their traditional coffee drinks
I tried this shop for the first time this week. I love that they use the portafilter eapresso machines. As a long time Starbucks employee, I know the differnce between that and a push-button shot. They care about the quality of their drinks and I was completely satisfied with my beverage. Highly recommended!
Go, just go. Everything, everything about this place was excellent. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the space, the service, the knowledge and passion behind the business. 11/10
6 dollars for a big cup of coffee is the same as one gallon of milk (organic) plus disgusting store bought avocado spread, which they tried to mask with weird oil on top. Not coming back. It’s so sad because there is not many option for coffee shops where you can work in the area, that are at a walkable distance. Go to mojo for better coffee! The Alamo is not worth it.
On one positive, the barista was really nice and friendly and had a great vibe.
Got a free tres leches for my first time here and it is DELICIOUS! The barista at the drive thru window was very nice. We were in a hurry to meet some friends on vacation so I couldn’t make it inside to see the decor but from the pictures it seems super cute. If I lived here I would definitely be coming back a lot!
The Americano was overly bitter and stale. Like the beans were ground too fine and had been sitting there on the heat for way too long. Food was meh. Just a very underwhelming place. Get coffee somewhere else.
Popped by this evening to redeem a tres leches latte offer and I'm glad I did! Ordered in the drive through and was advised that the drink is very sweet as it comes and was offered to make it half sweet instead. Great suggestion - I'm grateful for the suggestion and glad that I agreed! Even half sweet was sweet to me so I can't imagine full sweet. Employee was super friendly and kind. Great experience:) will return if I'm in the area!
We drove here because I had a free drink for being a first time customer. The coffee was extremely bitter, we had a caramel macchiato and an americano. My partner drinks a lot of coffee and for him not to want to drink his americano says something. We ended up not drinking either. The breakfast quesadilla was good. Maybe it was an off day, but it tasted like old coffee.
Cozy coffee shop. Nice coffee and delicious pastry. Sometimes a bit slow in drive-thru but I'm still returning.
I stopped by excited to try this new coffee shop. The coffee was amazing, the breakfast was amazing, and their playlist was even more amazing! Can't wait to visit again.
I was in the store the other day and my coffee was made great by the little barista girl. But the manager or someone who runs this place was demeaning to their employees and it made me want to drop my coffee and leave. I've been coming to Alamo for a while now and I see why there are so many new people working there. They leave because of her I guess.
