Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Cedars reviews
17I love the Alamo. My sister and I went there often, before the pandemic occurred. It felt like going back in time for me, walking through those doors with old movie posters hanging on the walls. The service was excellent, and the young man out infront who gives us our ticket was polite and Charming every time we visit there, and of course the food is undescribable delicious. As usual I always tell people to check things out for themselves, and I'm telling you to do the same as well.
Sad that it is closed right now, please let me know when you are open again. This is the theater that my family loves to visit. This is our favorite go to place when we wanted to watch movies. The food was always good. Ordering tickets online was super easy, and the people were super nice every time we went.
The Alamo is the only place I want to go see movies, due to their great in-theater beer selection, policies against noisy patrons and children, and comfortable seats. Going to any other theater branch feels like a horrible experience compared to what the Alamo provides.
Alamo Cedars also has a gorgeous roof-top patio that offers stunning downtown views.
Great service and food some theater are a bit small for my liking but still very cozy so I don’t really mind it also like the old school theater theme they go with very nice.
Great service and really nice theatre. Covid guidelines are well met and explained. Can order ahead or before the movie begins so can still enjoy a meal with your movie
I used to work at this location, and I am cool with most of the management staff, servers, bartenders and a handful of the cooks. I really enjoy cinema at this place.
You should allow extra time for parking. It was our first time, and my boyfriend and I awkwardly got in during the previews. I don't recommend it. The chairs were comfortable. Not office chairs. The fried pickles are the spears, but they're still really good. The popcorn comes with real butter, which I prefer the fake stuff, myself:) Overall, still great. Food & drinks are excellent.
My experience in this theater was not a good 1. I was asked to leave by a young white man Because I was black. How Ironic it is now that you're theater is closed and you are out of a job. Fortunately or unfortunately covid 19 is the equalizer. Injoy your life because I am happy prosperous and thoroughly
enjoying mine. Good luck finding employment again and good riddance when your theater goes out of business.
Good restaurant but they did not let us go to a movie that had just barely already started. Never encountered that before
My favorite place in Dallas to catch a movie. Love the bar with the downtown view on the patio. Its the best of the best for big movie experience.
Love love love this location. We typically go at least every two weeks and have had great experiences. Even the few times we've had issues staff or management were quick to make our experience better. I'm looking forward to going back whenever it's safe to do so! I just wish they'd bring back their AMAZING tofu sandwich. I'd get it every time.
This was an experience that I’ll never forget, and it was so fun! Alamo Drafthouse did an awesome job at making things as simple and intuitive as possible, and their food is AMAZING! I can’t wait to go back when I’m in town.
Things were going fine until my Cosmo came with salt on the rim instead of sugar. Other than that it was pleasant and friendly. The elevator was scary.
For some reason Alamo theaters always feel a little dirty to me. Aside from that, the seats are spacious and comfortable. The back reclines but feet don’t kick up. That’s just being picky I guess since I’ve been to other theaters that are slightly more comfortable.
Awesome theatre chain worth getting out of Mesquite for! Such a unique vibe compared to average theaters even though they are upgrading to serving food and drinks. The food is good here, as I'm always trying something new each time I come. But most important thing is coming to see the movies, which is projected with good quality sound and clear picture while sitting in their comfortable reclining seats.
My family and I enjoy coming to Alamo! They have made an improvement to their menu.more items and now they sell breakfast all day! When we don’t have a full plate, we enjoy sharing their Truffle Popcorn. It’s so good! Straws aren’t standard so if you need one be sure to ask for one.
Be sure to get there early! One if the BEST parts about the Alamo Drafthouse is their preshow! Plus it’s helps to get an early start on ordering your food and drinks!
