Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Park North, San Antonio TX

Why did westlakes close? ! That was the best one. I hate coming here. Our waitress the first time didn't bring us refills like we asked. She said she'll get on it and never brought it. Second time, I walked out as the group behind us were talking and was brought up to the manager but nothing was done. This last time, we were the last ones to get drinks, during the movie. Everybody had their drinks and meals and we hadn't received anything. That's that we paid in advance. Last but not least, my bf only handed his card off to this place, and by some miracle, it got used for Walmart purchases. I hate coming to this draft house as there's always something but my bf insists we come here even after they're always slacking. The menu seems to be lacking a lot of what used to be. We ordered pickles and get kosher spears. How do you guys not have fried pickles anymore if y'all obviously have spears? Even then, not have real pickles for those of us that enjoy it with popcorn. This draft house blows!

Lofty theatre with a lush setup. The service was great for the most part aside form a minor seating mishap.

Was surprised to see that they scrapped the wings (I used to love eating these back in the day and waking up with the bubbleguts) for a vegan option. Not sure why they went that route. Tried the cauliflower buffalo wings and they were OK.

The loaded fries were pretty legit as well along with the queso (which is good as it's always been).

The spaciousness was awesome and the place was fairly cleanly.

The Drafthouse is a great place to go, actually the reason I began to enjoy going to movies again. It is a little pricey but I'd say worth the treat for dinner and a movie.

Their vegan food is impressive. I would even say their vegan chocolate chip cookies are better than the traditional. Their vegan pizza is wonderful as well.

Not a fan of this place any longer. The staff is great don't get me wrong very friendly and accommodating but the whole theater seems run down and smells kinda funky and it's very muggy inside. The seating seems a bit awkward is the sense that you would have to share a small table with the guest if you happen to sit next to an odd number, which is fine but in this day I'm sure people would like their own space.

Very clean. Waitress was top notch. Recliners in the front are far enough away that your not seeing a chiropractor the next day. Get the pretzel with brown mustard.

Food gone downhill. Pizza was cold. Had been sitting for a while. Mozzarella sticks weren't great. Burger was bland which was weird. It comes with so much greatness on it but no e of it tasted like anything. Fish and chips were soggy. Fries were good. That came with the burger.

A night out with my daughter and she suggested Alamo Drafthouse. It was a great experience. The food was good and the seating was very comfortable. And it was the first time I could have beer while at the movies. I think this place is a winner. Looking forward to my next visit.

They use real butter on their popcorn and it tastes fabulous. If they would have had reclining seats I would have given 5 stars

My husband and I come here to watch all our favorite new movies. This theater is absolutely amazing. Food and drinks are delicious. Worth the trip?

Place is fairly clean. Seats don't recline. The popcorn was stale. The fries were tasty. The servers were prompt on refills for soda.

Has always been a great experience to go to Alamo Drafthouse here at Park North. Staff are friendly, food and cleanliness is good and always has a great variety of new titles and theme nights to enjoy. All in a centrally located location.

If you haven't been to an Alamo Drafthouse, go. The Drafthouse has the charm of an old-school arthouse theater (intentionally) paired with a pretty impressive food and alcohol menu.

Not only is the no talking/no texting policy amazing, the wait staff is considerate and prompt. Yes, wait staff because you actually order your food/beverages inside the theater. Drafthouse goes the extra mile with interesting and insightful tidbit blasts before the featured movie which you simply will not find anywhere else.
For the price of the ticket itself, an extremely worthwhile experience! Is the food on the spendy side? Sure, but it's also very good so the combination of food/drinks/movie is a very special experience and one which I will rush back to as soon as I can!

Always an awesome time at their movie parties.this time it was Elf. Love their popcorn and their mozz sticks. I'll be back.

Alamo Drafthouse is no longer what it used to be. Think twice about coming here and expecting service like before, because it has gotten pretty bad. This year alone (2021) I have gone 3 separate times and gotten the same disappointing service. My wife and I bought tickets on their website and I also ordered a draft beer on their website as well. We arrived 30 mins early (like they suggest you do) to our seats and waited 25 mins and our waiter never came by. I had to flag another waiter down to find out who our waiter was and ask about my Draft beer that I ordered online that I had yet to receive. After another 10 mins gone by, and not seeing our waiter, I had to get up and flag down another waiter to hand her our order slip so that we could eat sometime during the movie. After about 15 mins, only one entree arrives, my pizza, our waiter drops it off (shocker) but no napkins. Now I'm eating greasy pizza, no napkins, and using their menu as a way to wipe my hands because again our waiter is nowhere to be found. After about 10 mins I get up again, go to the bar area and ask for napkins. At this point I'm done, I had to get out of my seat multiple times to request service which is not how Alamo Drafthouse was. If the expectation is to be served at your seat throughout the movies, think twice about coming here. It's not the same anymore. It's a shame too cause I really liked this place. Santikos is so much better! At least you know you have to get up and serve yourself there as oppose to the expectation at Alamo Drafthouse of being "served".

Was out here visiting family for thanksgiving and I loved how it was the staff was super friendly! Next time I come back in town, I’ll try and come back!

Drafthouse experienced a power outage totally out of their control. They could not sell/refund tickets, They could not place orders and some employees could not even clock in. They stayed and worked off the clock trying to help guest. I Was amazed people gave them a hard time!? As if their day had not already started off terrible. Some of you do not deserve Alamo Drafthouse. We were able to get into our theater, our movie started on time, we got yummy hot brunch and cold mimosas.
