Alan Murphy Salon, Houston TX

This was my first time at Alan Murphy Salon. I saw Alli for a haircut and she did an amazing job! I didn't have a photo to show her want I wanted just gave her a general idea of what I was looking for and it turned out so much better than I had pictured! I highly recommend her, she is awesome and super sweet!

Salon personnel were professional and worked in a timely manner. My beautician Beverly is awesome.

My hair colorist, Taylor is great! She did an awesome job with my highlights-making sure it was what I wanted, and getting a relaxing shampoo after my color feels so good. I also like how Taylor and other staffs are pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Service in this salon is top notch!

I had my first ever visit today and the experience was great from start to finish. I will start by saying that I am not the easiest client to please, as I am EXTREMELY picky about my hair color. My colorist, Maddy, was absolutely amazing and was able to give me exactly what I wanted. She turned my flat, warm/yellow toned hair into a neutral beigy/bronde dream! I would highly recommend Maddy if you are on the fence about who to see for any of your hair color needs. I also received a haircut from Marissa, who was also amazing! Thank you Maddy and Marissa!

Marissa gives me a perfect haircut every time - along with fun conversation and general pampering. It is just delightful. Go get your hair cut!

Everyone is very professional and makes everything easy, from making the appointment to service. It was my first visit and I was very impressed. I will definitely be back.

The salon itself is top-notch and it is totally the experience/setting I want to have when I’m getting my hair done. My new stylist, Kym, is so perfect in her approach; she really wants to understand my vision, is very honest about where there may be blocks to that vision, then educated me on why AND what we could do instead in order to achieve a similar result. I’m very happy with the cut she gave me and I cannot wait to get my color done. She is the stylist I’ve always wanted to have!

The overall experience was great. The salon is clean and well kept. The staff was attentive and great at taking care of each and every concern and question I had.

Maddy was amazing and the results were exactly what I wanted she took well care of me and my sister. She is incredible at color correcting and coloring. My hair feels healthy, soft and look amazing.we would be happy to come back soon. Thanks.

Fantastic service from this salon. I've been looking all over for top quality color specialists in my area. I absolutely love this salon. The staff are freaking amazing. Complimentary shoulder massage and drinks served in wine glasses. Very well trained employees and fun to chat with. This was the best hair service I have ever received hands down. Beautiful atmosphere and the scalp massage when getting my hair washed almost put me to sleep it was so relaxing. I was constantly checked on and offered a beverage. Taylor did my color and lowlights/highlights and I forgot to get the business card of the wonderful woman that cut my hair. I will have to have them look her up for me when I go back in for a touch up here in a few months. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for hair services. Expect to pay for good quality work done. This is no in and out corner shop. Definitely worth the price if you care about the knowledge and training of your stylist. I'd give 10 if I could.

Taeylar is absolutely amazing at color. She is very detailed and takes the time to make sure she is giving her client exactly what they want & need! Taeylar is a gem! ️️️

This place is very nice and clean. Great customer service. I got Brenda, only for a "haircut" I went on Saturday September 25,2021. And I never told her I wanted my hair straight. I only told her I wanted to get "thin it out" and she did say that she was straightened it out so she can see if my hair looks ok with what I told her which was long layers. I don't know what happened. But I did get charged for having my hair straight. Which I never asked her to do it. I don't know if she heard me right.im guessing miss communication?

Alandra is my new favorite! I remember Alan Murphy from growing up in the area - and it's still a top salon many years later. I was back in Spring for a visit and my hair was in desperate need of some TLC. They were able to get me in quickly, my appointment was right on time, and now Alandra is my new favorite hair stylist. Everyone at the salon was very professional and I also appreciated that they were all wearing face coverings. I'll be back for sure!

Great atmosphere so relaxing the whole staff is top notch. I love this place. My hair looks great when I finish there what I would expect when I go to a salon.
