Grocery Store Albertsons reviews
15High priced and overstocked. Because it is a new and shiny store, what did you think we would notice the high-priced items. Wrong! Won't be shopping there unless I hit the lottery! Nice to dream, though, and walk through the store and window shop and dream. Then, back to reality, clipping coupons and shopping at the dollar store!
Check the sell-by date before you buy anything at this store! I got home and found mold on my cheese
Cookies: 1 month past sell-by date
Energy bars: expiring in 1 week, texture was weird
Cheese: smelled off, cheddar had mold
Their produce is wilted, everything on the shelves is old - more second-class service for south Irving residents.
Albertsons should be ashamed!
The staff is nice though, and you can always find parking - maybe because everyone's already figured out that the food is old and nasty!
I was plessantly surprised. They came back to Irving and really did it well. Reminds of a bit of HEB.
Friendly people, spotless place, some expensive things. Others not so much. Very good quality
I mean, it's a grocery store. They do not have a lot of items other stores carry, but they do have some that others don't.
Absolutely love the meat market deals and the variety of items in deli. I just moved to area and I am very pleased with this neighborhood location. They even have an on-site Starbucks.
One of the nicest, accommodating pharmacists I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with! I do not always feel totally comfortable with the service received at some pharmacies but have been comfortable from day one at this location!
Since the remodel, this store is top notch. Especially the staff. They are so friendly and helpful! Always polite and cheerful. Even the "youngsters" who are so often sullen and too shy to hold a conversation, these kids speak up, make eye contact, and work so efficiently!
I've come to love this place. I wasn't too happy with the pricing when they first opened. It's a nice store with very friendly and helpful employees and I'm loving the vegan options! It's near our neighborhood, so it's a short walk (depending on the weather) or drive. It's usually quick to grab what you're looking for and checkout. Don't forget to get the app and clip those coupons, y'all!
I'm so excited to have Albertsons in Irving especially south Irving. We didn't have any good grocery options.
For this store being new it smelled horrible when you walk in I was going to buy fresh corn the boxes were wet and all of the corns had like mold on the top 2 that I pulled from the box and peeled back looked like they had been eaten by rats. Disgusting store. Needs lots of attention.
Clean, well stocked, great prices, friendly staff. You cant ask for a better grocery store than this new Albertsons. Support this place, we need them to stay.
Slightly more expensive, but they aren't the guys down the street and my Sweetie complains a lot less.
South Irving finally has a nice grocery store! This Albertsons puts Irving Krogers to shame. Outstanding produce department! No more half rotten produce the other grocery stores around here put out. Great deli selection of pre prepared foods and salads. Everything is clean and nicely organized. It's a little more expensive than Kroger (not by much) and much nicer. Keep an eye out for sale items and it all balances out. Great selection of beautiful desserts and fresh breads. Also has a Starbucks. This will be the only grocery store I'll use in the area and I'm telling all my friends. Hope to see y'all there!
Brand new opening, and I was hoping for a great new grocery store. Selection is lacking as far as many choices for items. They have everything, but only 2 or 3 choices on each item. The prices were quite a bit higher than Kroger or Walmart as well.
