ALDI, Conroe TX

I went to Aldi for the first time today after numerous people told me how great the savings were. To say the least I could not have been more disappointed. My first disappointment was how bad of shape the produce was in, as far as the rest of the groceries it was fairly what I expected. Second issue we had was when we checked out. We brought our own bags and with no one behind us we walked up with the cart and were going to bag as our cashier Summer scanned. She rudely directed to “get away from the basket” and told us to wait (pointed to this counter where others were bagging their groceries) there until she was done and reminded us at least three times while we stood there that “I don’t bag groceries”. Taken aback by how rude this encounter began I followed her direction. Summer (sitting at her spot) then throws all of our groceries in the cart. I don’t use throws lightly. She literally chunked some items in so aggressive that the packaging opened and the asparagus heads on numerous of my asparagus snapped off. I mentioned that she didn’t have to throw everything in the basket and I would happily bag my own things to prevent any more damage. Summer again reminded me that I need to stay over there and that’s just how Aldi does things. After throwing more of my items in the basket, I asked her again to please stop throwing things as another item broke. She asked me if I had ever been to Aldi before and I told her no and that I surely would not be back if “this is how Aldi does things”. I understand staff not bagging our groceries and had no expectation that the cashier would do this. I did however have the expectation that I would arrive home with intact groceries. Sorry Aldi, I REALLY wanted to become an Aldi shopper but I would rather pay more to get my groceries home in one piece and not be completely disrespected by the staff.

This is me favourite place to shop. Their prices are very good. The simplicity of it all is great, bring a quarter for a cart and you know people want their money back so your car never gets dinged.

4 stars for price. 3 stars for food quality
Some products are great. Love their milk, half n half, gelato, and bakery.

First time. Could not shop only here but did pick up numerous different items and prices good.
Best part is the staff. Friendly and helpful

I love that they have ground Bison, my pooch loves it as I prepare his food with carrots, cottage cheese, broccoli, sweet potatoe and brown rice, I also love the specialty aisle with good prices.

First time shopper. Love their brands. So pleased with vegetables and dairy items, especially pizza and yogurt.

I've been going to Aldi's for many years. Unfortunately, the last few times they have been out of many of their dairy products or in very short supply. Bananas always seems to be unavailable

Want something different that your regular store does not stock you may find it here. Carry some quality goods from Europe. If you want it buy now because it probably will not be there next week. They rotate Europe products.

Going in to shop at this location for the 1st time. I need some good cold sweet tea and dog food. Will update after my shopping experience.

Love this store! Shelves are always full and it’s clean. Good customer service, everyone is super nice

I'm a little tight on funds and Aldi is the place to go. I picked up a few sale items but they unlucky rang up full price. I found an employee after I double checked and took pictures to show. He was so incredibly nice he refunded me the whole price. That extra 7.50 will seriously help me alot thank you so much!

Prices are really good, store is clean, constantly stocking goods, and staff friendly and helpful.

Love the"Isle of Shame" at Aldi. This store is always well stocked and clean. Employees are courteous and helpful. Safe parking

Prices are fair. Was not impressed with the outside when walking in. Trash all over the place.

I love this store. It has such a wide variety of Different stuff than the bigger grocery stores

Food prices are so high right now. Aldi's makes grocery shopping a lot less painful on the wallet. Keep up the good word, Aldi!
