Alice's Restaurant at Treaty Oak Distilling reviews
15Solid BBQ with a great homemade sauce. The brisket was perfect and the tacos were very tasty. They have an air conditioned restaurant area inside with booths.
Pimento and cheese was okay but the chips were greasy. Like pickets of the chips had grease in them. Like the atmosphere.
We had our dogs with us and they were welcome on the patio. The atmosphere was great, the food superb and the waiter was prompt with everything (water, libations, food, check) We will definitely return
Food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend the sopapillas! We sat outside under the lights on a cooler day and it was lovely.
Was taken here by my grown kids for a birthday and had a great time. I was blown away by the gorgeous HUGE oak trees hanging over our picnic table as we ate. You can bring your dogs and it has a ranch feel to it since it's acres of property. Food was delicious. Don't expect fancy dining since you're served on cardboard. Would definitely go again.
The place is supe big and has a very chill vibe! The food was awesome! We ordered the tinga tacos and the brisket tacos. The sauce on the tinga tacos was on the spicy side, but the bbq sauce on the brisket tacos was one of the best bbq sauces I've tasted! We actually ended up buying a bottle of it in the gift shop!
Great food! You order from your table through phone and food is brought to you. I absolutely love that they offer pitchers of some amazing cocktails! You can't get that anywhere!
My wife and I ate here last night for Valentines day and was not impressed whatsoever. We both ordered the picanha steak platter with the tomatoes and cucumbers side. The steak was one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. They forgot to bring my wife's side and when asked to bring it the lady was very sparky and then it never came. There was zero service whatsoever which is asinine considering you have to order and tip before you ever see anyone from the waitstaff. Probably will never go for dinner again. I only gave then 2 stars and not one because the steak itself was magnificent!
First time here, (St. Patrick's Day) and we absolutely had a fun time with friends. Our waitress was especially great. I wish I had remembered her name. Pleasantly surprised by how tasty their old fashioned drinks were. We only ordered chips and queso, but it was probably the best queso I've had in a while. We'll definitely be back for more. Nice and clean areas outside and inside to enjoy drinks and food.
Crazy long lines on a beautiful Saturday afternoon since this was the only place to grab a drink that afternoon. Regardless, the drinks were all phenomenal, the service was great once we got to the bar, and the Treaty Oak property is beautiful and a great place to relax and enjoy the day!
I came to Alice’s on a Monday afternoon. It was a lovely spot for a late lunch and a cocktail. Because it was Monday, it was pretty quiet, but the staff was so kind and super attentive. They even offered me a tour! The barbecue was delicious and the antique gin fizz cocktail I had was one of my favorite cocktails ever. There is a small indoor area with a bar, but the outdoor space is large and beautiful. Lots of tables and shade trees. Great place to linger with a cocktail and enjoy the weather and the company!
Came here for a tour which was very good. Stayed for the food and I was very disappointed. I ended up spending 90 with tip. I ordered the porkchip, brisket burger, Brussels and cauliflower and a drink. The pork chop is one of the most expensive items on the menu. The burger was good, the cauliflower was good however, the pork chop was ice cold. It is very disappointed when its the only item on my table (A1) and other people on my table got their food first after ordering after me. The staff c a me and asked how things were going and I was talking to them about my experience and just got ignored. I will not be coming back even if someone else is paying! I would rather go to another distillery.
Not only are the drinks great but the food is amazing. Every single thing I tried was delicious. The atmosphere is great and there's lots of open space. I will definitely be going back.
Delicious brisket and turkey, friendly and knowledgeable staff, laid-back atmosphere, and a convenient system for ordering/paying. If you are in the area definitely worth the trip. Watch out as it will get packed but they can definitely fit you.
