Great home-made ice cream and friendly service. The toy store side is amazing with natural educational toys and much more.

This store has changed a lot since we were last here. The toy side of the store is not as grandiose and fun as it used to be.

The ice cream is still good but service is hit or miss. Half the staff was on their phones while one girl ran a very busy ice cream counter.

We love coming here with the kids - they have a great selection of toys and the ice cream shop in the back is wonderful!

If your looking for something special, this is the place. Good selection of specialty toys, wood toys, children books and more. Dont miss the hand scooped ice cream selection the back of the store, that is always a good addition to your purchase

A must stop while in Georgetown! Scoops Ice Cream is the best. So many delicious flavors and options. Not too mention it is in a toy store. My kiddos voted 5 stars.

The store itself is adorable, with a good selection of toys and books. The back area with ice cream amd candy is wonderful and my kids loved all the selection of candy. They even have bulk PEZ which I loved! They had some nostalgic candy and novelty items as well. The Beth Marie's ice cream is DIVINE. My only issue was the customer service. The young girl working the ice cream counter was incredibly sweet, but the other two kids working the front counter were not super great. While they greeted us when we came in the store it was very much a "ugh welcome in" kind of greeting. Then they sat behind the counter on their phones and ignored my son and I the rest of the time we were in the store. You could tell they have been told to greet all customers but they aren't very welcoming and I felt like I was disturbing them by being in the store.

Walked in for 2 scoops of ice cream, the sign on the door was flipped to open. An employee quickly walked towards us and said we’re closed and chased us out. It was 9: 01 when we checked the time. We walked around the corner (completely unaware of when these places close). We walked into Baked Bear and we asked if they were closed and they smiled, said yes but what can we get you? Thank you Baked Bear for saving the end of date night.

Awesome place to take the kids. It’s one of the few places that sells Playmobil and other unique toys. They also have delicious ice cream and fresh cones. A must for any family to check out!

Whenever we are in Georgetown, we stop by to try our favorite ice cream “ Scoops Old Fashioned Ice Cream “, the best ice cream in town. Super cute place with old school candy and toys. Toys are made from wood, metal, and recycled materials. Ice cream shop is a popular attraction for the kids along with pay by weight candy selection.

Best little toy store around! Their stuff is quality, not inexpensive, but not overpriced either. Good selection, but don't come expecting to find the stuff you find at big box stores. If you need a child's gift that won't likely be duplicated, this is your spot!

I loved the atmosphere of this little shop! It was very nostalgic for me. I saw cute toys that I played with as a child, and books that I would read when I was young. There’s also fantastic ice cream! The smell draws you from outside of the store and lures you in haha

We absolutely love this place. Downtown Georgetown is very much geared towards adult beverages and food. However, this place is a great stop for the family and you'll be able to spend a substantial amount of time here. I really enjoy the variety of toys and the number of unique brands and toy designs. They have. Most of the toys here. Really do focus on creativity and imagination. It is a very fun atmosphere and there are many hands-on products. I would also make sure that I mention their quality book selection. We spent quite a bit of time reading through books, some with finger puppets, some with lots of pictures and some for more mature readers. As you make your way to the back of the store, you will discover there is a candy shop with a wide variety of products and an ice cream shop as well. The employees are very friendly and helpful and they never seemed like we were an inconvenience or we were playing too much instead of buying stuff, which is something I've always worried about in a toy store like these. If you have kids or you're just a kid at heart, I would definitely recommend spending some time here.

Kids there are so polite and engaging. Every time my wife and I go there for ice cream, no matter the day or time those kids are on point. Excellent customer service. Thank you

They were out of the Charleston Chew Vanilla, and that should never happen! Lol! Ice cream saved the day.oh and trying pop rocks for the first time!
