I wanted to take a moment to share my POSITIVE experience and provide a glowing review of the outstanding care I received at Allen Psychiatry and team. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome and at ease. The receptionists are efficient and always have a warm demeanor & willingness to assist with my insurance or concerns immediately. They truly care simply by assisting me through a very difficult battle w/my insurance & bc of their persistent I was able to get the proper care I needed. Also, I was impressed by the professionalism & expertise demonstrated by the medical professionals as well. They exhibited a deep level of knowledge, expertise, & dedication to providing the HIGHEST standard of care. Everyone from the doctor, nurses, & staff listened to my concerns and thoroughly explained treatment options and answered all of my questions with compassion and without judgement. Their ability to create a comfortable & trusting environment helped alleviate any anxieties I had about my own health. The facility at Allen Psychiatry is state of the art! It’s impeccably clean & well maintained. So basically in summary, my entire experiences has been nothing short of exceptional. The compassion & professionalism by the entire staff have left a lasting impression on me. With all my heart I highly recommend Allen Psychiatry to anyone seeking top-notch medical care that delivers genuine care and efficiency. I have been Dr. Ali's patient at Allen Psychiatry for several years and can give her and her staff the highest reccomendation. She is extremely proffessional, kind, and cares about her patients - particularly during this sythetically-induced Adderral "shortage" for which the govenment is wholly responsible.
She has helped me find pharmacies that could fill my prescription and offered alternatives when Adderrall simply couldn't be found anywhere. At one point, she sent refill authorization to a pharmacy when she was at the airport departing for the Christmas break!
While she certainly didn't cause this mess, Dr. Ali, for reasons such those referenced above, has gone above-and-beyond to help me naviagate it.

I've been going to Allen Psychiatry for over a year now & it has been nothing but a great experience. From the staff that answers the phones, to the psychiatrist and doctor, everything seems to be running smoothly. They know their stuff and allow me to express myself with a caring ear. I often ask a lot of questions and everyone here listens and answers all my questions without making me feel bad for asking so many questions. I'm truly impressed with the quick email response from Dr. Ali considering she gets tons of emails. I don't see myself looking elsewhere for psychiatric help anytime soon.

Absolutely the best experience from a superb Doctor who has to be one of the best communicators I've ever met. I can't speak highly enough about how caring and excellent she was with my procedure. She really listens and was extremely professional. Excellent consultation. I found it very informative and helpful. All my questions were answered and all my concerns were dealt with.

Dr Ali is superb: highly intelligent, professional, kind, attentive, and effective. I have been seeing her for two years, and she’s made a significant, positive impact on my treatment resistant depression. Karimah, Malissa, and the rest of the staff are equally professional and attentive. Most highly recommended.

Beware: Their billing practices are unreasonably excessive and questionable. And to top it off, the person in charge of billing is far from helpful and acts bothered whenever you have questions.

Jenny Haney, PMHNP is a caring, compassionate practitioner. She is very attentive, listens to my concerns. She suggests alternative therapies. She is approachable, knowledgeable and makes me feel valued. I am so very glad I found Jenny, she is a lifesaver!

Amazing staff! Everyone here has always been professional and kind! Dr Ali has been so validating. Feeling seen and heard felt hard to come by until I came here and I am so grateful. Their Spravato and IOP program is the best and I am glad I can do my treatments after work.

Dr. Ali is an affable, professional Psychiatrist. Her humor and radiant demeanor, counts for half the cure. When I first saw her, I was in the deepest, darkest moments of my life; clueless about how to go any farther. In a brief span of 2 weeks, she lifted me from my doldrums and return to my normal strength and vitality - no less than magical. In short, Dr. Ali is an outstanding Psychiatrist.

In 2023, I am dissapointed at the psychiatric care out there. I saw Jenny yestersay (who showed signs of being very tired), and Lesley for a second opinion today. I came to them with symptoms, of PTSD, panic disorder, and generalized anxiety. Jenny said I showed signs of "delusions or hallucinations" due to having ESP and certain psychic abilities the average person doesn't. So, I was prescribed Zyprexa, a schizophrenic medication. I hoped for a better opinion or recommendation from Lesley, but it is the same. Dr. Ali is apparently amazing, but she doesn't accept new patients. If you have a complex issue, avoid this place!

I'm very disappointed with the constant check-ins when my medication has been steady for years. I've upped my medication to 10mg and wasn't able to attend the one-month follow-up since my health insurance lapsed due to changing jobs; I've been out of it for a couple of days and feeling terrible the withdrawal. I've asked for an exception since my next insurance kicks in 10 days, but it was said, "it's policy. " So it's okay to jump from 40mg to 0, but I need a follow-up to check on how I'm going from 40mg to 50mg. I will have to pay for my visit out of pocket since I can't stay without it. Makes no sense to me. Very frustrating. The medication I'm on is controlled but cannot be abused on how it is designed. Of course, this is more like a business decision than a patient well-being rule. The staff members are great and very responsive though, that's a positive.

I have been seeing Jillian for a few years now and have nothing but good things to say about her and Allen Psychiatry. Jillian is very thorough, kind, and empathetic and has helped me tremendously. Sometimes I'll call the office and they'll be busy but I leave a voicemail and always get a call back quickly.

I have been working with this practice for several years now. The providers are top notch, and I can't say enough about the office staff. Always friendly, and very much on top of things. Thank you for all you do!

Erica Dempsey is my doctor and she is awesome. I would like to to add about the staff Whitney and all others what a outstanding job those girls do. I have had some experience with them, example getting authorization letters to the pharmacy, ie insurance. They do not miss a beat and are the best staff of any doctor I have ever had, Ya, ll are all rock stars!

Allen Psychiatry is a home away from home for me. When I walk in I am greeted like a friend. They are so nice and accommodating, whether I need a blanket or a gatorade, they've got it.

I have been going here since 2020. I've done TMS and Spravato, and my psychiatrist is here. I drive all the way from Grapevine to come here and I wouldn't have it any other way. Every treatment I've done here has helped me tremendously.

I've gone from severe depression with suicidal ideation a down to undetectable.
